BBC Choral Evensong: RSCM Summer Course Canterbury 1983 (Martin How)

A broadcast on 11 November 1983 of a recording made in Canterbury Cathedral on 11 August of the same year by the choir of the resident RSCM Summer Course, under the direction of Martin How and accompanied by Roger Sayer (organ). The Lessons and the final Prayers were edited out before the recording was donated to the Archive.

Such a stunning evensong , pity not to hear the organ voluntary!

Unfortunately, the voluntaries are rarely recorded when we acquire evensongs, usually so the evensong would fit on one side of a cassette.
