I'm doing something similar, wanted to know if you have tried Fork over Pierce, it clears a lot faster for me. I was hesitant when I saw the damage reduction was 50% vs 30%, until I realized it effectively doubles the amount of Spark Projectiles. I'm level 74, so just curious if Fork stands up at your level.

What's the go with Final Barrage (top left Full Life/Low Life) node? I thought lowlife/fulllife stuff didn't work for CI, and even if it did, wouldn't Final Barrage be a negative since you'd be full life? And surely Casting Cascade should be avoided outside bossing, until you're dumpstering map clear?

For now, CI is giving us both full and low life and the 2 points net us 13% cast speed - if this is bugfixed, we'll go with Practiced Signs/Open Mind in its place

Hi a question I’m following your archmage stormweaver on Maxrollgg and on the passive tree some lines are green and red. What does that mean and in the build do I rush mind over matter and chaos inoculation or just follow the passive tree as I’m not sure what order to go

@ red lines are weapon set 1 and green are weapon set 2. Conceptually, the curse nodes belong to your offhand for greater effect, while the crit nodes belong to weapon set 1 and every skill besides sigil of power and conductivity

You can get font of mana on your frost wall for a little more regen if you struggle with mana. Also we can probably consider getting off CI/delay it until really high tier maps and run a actual amulet because devs cut out a lot of chaos cancer... I intend to conduct extensive testing on the matter.

@@IBoilerUp yeah you have to really kiss the wall to get the buff but we do what we got to do to offset MOM penalty xD Also flat mana on kill on ring or gloves feels really really great. I had +45 pair of gloves and +20 ring save me like 50 times. Basically a grim feast on steroids for MOM build.

I got a few questions since I'm doing spark myself and watched many streams/guides. For the wand, I thought lightning damage is superior to spell damage because archmage only scales with lightning. I also heard that the "damage as extra" doesn't work. For the offhand, is the double es prefix better than spell+lightning damage? Or is this just your current gear, since I assume late game ingenuity is also just best. Edit: did some testing. Bought 2 foci with only relevant prefixes (170 Mana in both, one with 130+ in spell+light DMG, other with 85+ flat and % es). Was about a 17% sheet DMG loss but 500 es more and like 250 mana.

I think lvl 21 archmage is bugged. Im seeing no tooltip dps change on any abilities between a 20 and 21 archmage. But i do see on a 19 vs 19 with qual etc, so the tooltip definetly should show a difference, but it doesnt.

It's time consuming but using orb of chance on a normal quality azure amulet. Its hard to find the amulets on trade but with about 10-15% chance to get it with a chance orb from my experience it's worth it

I really don't understand the shield part. How is 30% of 5k mana 5.8k shields? Also... I have 3.4k shields (without the amulet). when I activate eldritch battery it is only giving me 1k mana.... Went from clearing tier 10 maps on cold sorc to not being able to clear tier 2 with lightning build

Eldritch Battery does not consider %increased energy shield from tree, and the resulting Energy Shield from Everlasting Gaze / Atziri's Disdain does

How does EB work with increased % ES nodes and such? If my ES was 1000 after all the increased % from the tree, and it gets converted to mana, does it convert 1:1 or is it mana prior to the ES%? And then on top of that, does Everlasting Gaze get increase ES% from the tree as well? I know this is a basic question but I've never played this kinda build and want to understand more. From what I can tell it seems like it's 1:1, and then the ES from Everlasting Gaze is also boosted from the tree?

@@saffronasux4175 both - base energy shield (not considering %ES from skill tree / jewels) is added to your mana with eldritch battery. Up to 30% of that mana is converted back to energy shield from the amulet, and that energy shield is subject to % increases

For some reason Eldritch Battery working BEFORE amulate convert. So in reality you have this algorithm: You stacking your ES -> lvl up Eldritch Battery -> it converts all ES -> THEN amulet get it percentage mana from all mana to new ES shield which is working like nothing happend

I"m cold right now at level 77, and if I take off my cold staff, my stats are 1,429 life , 2170 energy shield and 1180 mana, with 138 spirit and max res. If I got a Everlasting Gaze + 1wand/offhand , do you think Id be able to make this switch suffiently? I'm only in Tier 6 maps currently as well. Just wondering your opinion before I spend a shit ton of exalts. =)

Get to lvl 78 first. this way you can just buy a Level18 spark and use it right away which give you a massive boost in dps.

I spend like 60 Divines on this build and keep dying on maps Im level 90. Have setup for 5k es and 5k mana have also setup for 4kes and 4k mana but alot more damage keep dying anyways. Just out of nowhere some monster kill me. Is that normal on this build?

@@WatchThatFast I don’t die a lot with a 10k+ hp pool personally, no. But a high HP pool is basically our only defensive layer. If it’s too much, you can try incorporating some block chance with a shield

With CI ur always Full Life, so with Final Barrage (Skill Point in Skilltree) u will always loose 10% Cast Speed. Maybe something u want to change.

Lightning pen is def not the way to go. Would switch that gem out, you already have conductivity which will drop their res enough to the point the 30% lightning pen will do nothing.

is this build extreamly expensive like your wand is atleast 50-100 exault your chest and helm probably around 2 devine each plus i think the mid socket costs like 30 exault and the 5th slot for the gem is like 100 exault or 5 devine its legit insane let alone when we add the rest of the items the neck is 2 devine as well + all the additional quality on items and gems is like another 10-15 exault and it will not work without having atleast half of this

You can upgrade the level of the gem even of it is corrupted. So just corrupt low ones. Still insanely expensive due to perfect jeweller but there isn't really a cheaper way to get a 21 spark gem
