I handled a friend's at Blade Show this year and it was really nice. Definitely CRK quality. It is on my list. Great video.

@mancintheusa it takes a little getting used to. The detent on mine is tight! ...plus it's really easy to accidentally press on the lockbar when opening. Congrats!!

Very nice blade. Neil from TNK is just a great person to deal with.

Nice! how do you like it compared to the large Seb? Does it have the CRK quality and how does it slice? I just checked out TNK and they have your model but I am eyeballing the 95P frame lock but if it won't knock the large Seb out of my pocket I won't bother.

Nice review, I actually have the same exact one. Bought it from TNK as well, but in person from their booth at the annual USN Gathering. The guy that runs TNK told me it's a custom knife, that they're only built by the two brothers. Even if there were other people helping them in the shop, does that still make them a mid-tech? I don't believe any part of this knife is outsourced at all. They seem to even make their own hardware. They almost "feel" like a mid tech because they're so "pro" though.

@roughneckrob1 Man it's hard to say. The Shirogorov is reeeeally nice. They are certainly different animals. The Seb is more simple which IMO is a plus. The Shirogorov is incredible. Impeccable. They are both worth their asking price.

That's like saying that if you support and nurture the good in a person you are supporting the bad too. How would you feel if zero knives were made in the United States? How would you feel if there were zero craftsmen of any goods in the United States? How would they continue without people like you and your support? It's not politics. Either we self sustain or we become beggers. Hopefully you don't mind going back and fourth with this since you brought it up. Should be a fun "conversation"!

I do not support outsourced knives. Do you believe that a Taiwan factory worker makes the same wage as a USA worker? Wait...Taiwan has lower standards of living. Do you believe that one can take advantage of a situation without taking advantage of the people involved? Have you personally defined what "enough" is for those people? How does Spyderco decide whats "enough?" They don't make the knife. They make the money. I support knife makers not money makers. YMMV!

Yes Mick Strider is a Liar. But so are you and so am I. Well that's an assumption. Possibly you've never lied or made any mistakes in your life & everyone loves you. Obviously you're well acquainted with Chris Reeve to make a statement like that. It's pretty ballsy to argue with a 30 year veteran, award winning, Tool and Die maker about machining and metalurgy! As far as the concept and end product: one opinion vs. another = irrelevant. Like it or don't I reckon!
