I’ve been working on 7.3 diesels for over 20 years now and I don’t believe in snake oil products to repair them. That being said I watched this video I unwillingly bought a bottle of this expensive shit and put it in my personal truck with 200,000 on the original injectors. It had a bad skip when cold and now it purrs like a kitten. I also added some to the power steering and it helped tremendously. Thanks for spending the time giving us your advise much appreciated.

Bill, Your videos are great! I am not a powerstroke owner but I used to be a tech at a few Ford dealers as a line tech and did not work on the diesel engines. all your information is fantastic to pass along to anyone that needs this info you provide and if I get a chance I send them to your channel. great stuff! I always had a soft spot for the 7.3 powerstroke because it is a real work horse of a engine and very few problems if taken care of. just pack a extra camshaft position sensor in the glove box as it seems to be the achillies heel of the 7.3.

Bill-I really appreciate your videos. They have helped me do a better job servicing my 2005 6.0 truck. I have 184K miles on the truck, and have not had any major troubles, however, do have the stiction issue. I ordered the Archoil combo today, and hope it gives me better results. Also, I will be changing to synthetic motor oil. I have ran regular Rotella for the life of the truck, but feel the injectors need a break........before they break. Thanks again for the service you provide. It is appreciated.

Mine was doing and sounded exactly the same. Your guy diagnosed it as needing new battery cables. The ones I had weren't to old. I said replace them if that was the problem. The installation was Not neatly done and the positive cable rubbed against pulley. I had to fix that. Needles to say the new cables didn't fix the issue. There was other repairs done as well. Fuel pump installed all good. Transmission remove new torque converter installed because of loud as heck noise and shifting hard that was my diagnosis I was told that probably wasn't the problem of it shifting hard but it was the problem. Now the torque converter is making the same noise again just not as bad as the original one. They did a transmission service on it (fluid and filter), I've done several transmission services on the truck myself and never had the pan to leak but after they your guys did the service it leaked. Yes I did try contacting your office it was very hard and difficult to get through never would receive a phone call back finally got through talk to the guy out front not you the other got works or just find it him you should hit fill out paperwork and get back with me we never did talk to him again months later he said the same thing never call me back. Bill can the Archoil be purchased from your shop or does it have to be shipped out?

Archoil is a fucking miracle. My 05 6.0 was running perfectly fine to my knowledge. Yesterday I added the friction modifier to the oil and 80ml of the fuel additive to a full tank and ran it for about 40 miles and didn't really notice much difference. This morning it was normal to get started (fairly easy but still a few cranks before it'd catch) but after I drove up to the Dawson Forrest, it was like a different truck. It engaged overdrive sooner, stayed in overdrive longer before shifting out (used the engine to torque through the hills) under a load and burned noticeably less gas than previous trips to that area. That was just on* the road. Off road, I noticed that the engine was quieter and used the turbo far less than I was used to it doing. I can't say enough about these products so far. I'm looking forward to what my commute to the city looks like this week in terms of MPG

Bill, i have been watching your videos for the past couple of years and tend to trust the stuff you are talking about.. I can say in reading on the various forums, FTE, PSnation etc, and watching your helpful videos I was aware of the issues with 6.0L PS when looking at trucks last year. I know it saved me a lot of money and headaches and I went with a 2003 7.3L. The how to buy a used truck video was extremely helpful in finding a good, and i looked at 4 with 2 being crap, truck to purchase last august 2014. I have been watching this info on archoil and have to say the results have been amazing.. One question on the truck show in video, 2000 F-350 SRW was how old was the oil and what was it condition before changing.. The reason i ask is what would have been the result out out the archoil additive in oil vs a good fresh oil change. I think to satisfy the non-believers that might be a good video to produce. I am sure the additive is doing a good job just wonder how good vs a fresh oil change. Would have been nice know mileage on old oil and see the UOA by blackrock. keep up the good work and thank a million for your info. carl 2003 7.3L owner in NC

landscaperconnection Hot shots is outstanding and certainly better than no additive BUT there's a new gun in town. THe Archoil AR6200 does everything the Hotshots does but AR6200 is a fuel catalyst which means it makes the fuel burn better. gcolo98 475k miles on a 6.7?! And 2014! How did you get those miles in 4 years!

This just goes to show that even today's petroleum oils are garbage for a Powerstroke. If you need a oil additive for your engine, your using the wrong oil. Using a premium synthetic oil will keep your powerstroke running like new without additives.

question, so when using this product, how long does it last? will the truck go back to previous state without it in the oil? - located in Ontario and the winters here are bitter cold! running a 6.0L excursion powerstrokehelp

Dan M You really need both products to feel the difference. The AR9100 friction modifier is installed in the oil and stays there. At next oil change you install new AR9100. THe AR6200 combustion CAtalyst is installed in fuel very time you fill up. Give it a try. You WILL see and feel a difference.Archoil challenge is only $4.95. archoil.powerstroke.com

You started with a truck with a dark yellow coolant tank and ended with a truck with a clear new coolant tank and a much cleaner engine. How did this happen?

I got a 1995 that when you buzz it three will buzz faintly. It sat for 12 years. Do you think it will free up the injectors

I tried this combo and started experiencing "stiction" issues only AFTER the treatment. I'm wondering if i may need to change the fuel filter or oil again in case there is debris that was dislodged although I didn't have any issues before the treatment?

Got a question I have a 99 7.3 and my old man just got a 12 6.7 he likes the power but he hates the fuel economy verses the 7.3 would just the fuel additive help with economy or would you need the oil additive as well

Great video. I have a 02 7.3, I tried the hotshot oil additive. I noticed a difference when it runs. Is the arch oil better. Or is it the combo of fuel and oil the best way to go? Thanks

You need both Ar9100 friction modifier in your oil and AR6200 combustion catalyst in your fuel. You will think you have a new truck.
