@@RaptorJesus6814 in my opinion heavy carapace should have a 3+ armor save but yeah I love most models with a 4+ save and you know me I just love heavy flak and heavy carapace

@@hydragonsbreath3418 Honestly the biggest limit is the d6 meaning you can't vary them up enough! Toying around making a d12 based system for fun and it lets you have so much more armour variety.

@hydragonsbreath3418 3A and a plate carrier covers most of the upper body. And a 3A armor lined rifle case (3A tower shield 🛡)

@ yep it’s definitely better than standard flak and on par with what you can scratch build for cultists. I separate it by coverage so full flak would be required to cover at least the forearms and thighs if not the waist and calves as well with armor capable to resisting lower caliber or standard infantry weapons. 3A is likely equivalent to thicker flak plates but I don’t think I’ve seen a comparison between face hardened steel and level 3a armor. I wish I had though that would be cool

Bolter is next so will you go over all of the offshoots or will you only cover the more mainstream versions(Boltgun, heavy bolter, bolt sniper etc.)?

@@bogdankokanovic3098 well as these are the “standard” videos I will likely do the heavy bolter, boltguns, stalker bolter and maybe a few more specific designs but more esoteric weapons will have to wait for specific videos. Could you give and example of an offshoot so I know what you mean?
