The bottom half of olis head was operated by the fx team, it was essentially just a puppet, they had their fingers inside it while filming.

Musically, this has to be my favorite song from them so far. The writing on this album seems to flow so much better than the previous albums. We are only 3 songs deep.... Can't wait for the rest
@hurpdurp9163 жыл бұрын
For suuuure. They've always been too shreddy for me, insane technicality but the writing never did anything for me, but their new stuff is really clicking, more melodic, more cohesive in general. I fuck with this.

Everybody talks about speed with archspire, but what makes them really standout for me is their songwriting. It is sooo technical but in a way very catchy and easy to listen to at the same time. That's what most tech death bands struggle with

These singles make me feel like this upcoming album is going to be like an almost amped or jacked version of Relentless Mutation, almost like Relentless Mutation 2.0, which is super exciting to me :D

I thought it couldn't be cooler than the two previous songs ... I was very wrong. This band is incredibly cool, I can't imagine how much effort and time it took to write such incredible songs. It's not just about speed, it's about melody and variety. They surprise me every time, although I thought I heard the best of music. And I was wrong again.

They are the drone corpses in the video, and the blind doctor is the aviator!
@brunocharbonneau52723 жыл бұрын
Pretty much my interpretation too, someone (from the A.U.M) piloting corpses. This video fits so much with the "lore" behind all of Archspire to me.
@stevenstimac33233 жыл бұрын
@@brunocharbonneau5272 Exactly! The black fluid is "the drip" which reanimates dead corpses. It also drives those that view it insane, which explains the blind doctor, and the assistants all wearing those vision blocking glasses. It's so cool how all their music ties together.
