What I love about the skinning in Darkheart Thicket is even if you only have Rank 1 for stonehide and stormscale you can loot the quest items to upgrade in there, thats what I did today on my hunter and was seeing the items drop to upgrade relatively fast. Then you go out, get the upgrade and repeat.

For the Lightforged trick, if you use the Chauffeured Mechanohog or whatever it's called for ally, the enemies can't daze you. Might make kiting them to the front easier.

Hi, I'm new to this gold farming kind of stuff. You say 17k per hour for the AD exploit. I currently run it and at around 25 minutes I hit the lockout. I have rank 3 for all skinning skills and yet I'm only getting enough to craft like around 90 strikers. Which gives me (including trash and green drops) a total of roughly 6k gold. When you say 17k per hour do you mean assuming you have three different accounts to get around the lockout? Feeling a bit lost and could do with some clarification. Thank you

It just means if you do this for an hour you will get 17k. You could do it on separate realms or you could do something else inbetween or you could do it on 3 different accounts.

Mate your videos are stellar as always! Much appreciated! A quick question if I may - in the AD shuffle, you pull pretty much the entire first area in one pull without getting feared even once. Whenever I try though I almost always end up getting feared before I make it to that spot where you snap the mobs. Is there something I’m missing or is it just a matter of timing and/or luck? Follow the exact path to the millimetre I show in the video. If you deviate even an inch or with the patrolling members in the center you will get feared. It requires practice but then you can do it pretty much every time.

I that trick you did in Atal is referred to as “snapping” this is common in mythic plus and can be done in many places in many dungeons.

@@archvaldor You are free to share any of my content you come across that you like. I think the bombardment is a good exploit (not the exploits you look for). It was nerfed a long time ago back in WotLK from my understandings because how op is was. When the loot changes came about that nerf no longer existed, bringing back all the items from the loot tables. It's good for world drops and decent transmong. (I want this place to get more attention :P). It's also good for raw gold if you get a group going plus a few stacks of frostweave cloth is thrown in the mix. But again it's not the exploits you look for I don't believe?

The issue here is that I'm not a gold farming channel, there really has to be some sort of glitch, I'd rather leave straight gold farming to people like you because frankly you do it better. It isn't as easy as it looks in the video. It took me almost a day to get it down perfectly. Watch what I'm doing exactly, note the position of the patrols especially and practice. If you can't get it down do the stonehide shuffle, I'm sure there are people not capable of this its no biggie.

I have no idea how you did this mounted without getting feared ever. Im trying on my dh and I cant get past the middle pack without getting feared which leads to a chain of bullshit. my DH is 460 so a bit low but without the chain fear I could do it. I actually have no clue how you make it to the one pack without getting feared because it doesnt look like you los it.

There is an los element, it just takes practice. A lot of practice. Do EXACTLY what I do in the video, there is no margin for error at all including the patrol pathing.

Do you loose a lockout with the LFR method ? Also i read thro all now, no mentioning of linked servers gives you 20 lockouts per hour. Only taking me six hours to level a DH i found my self really lucky to be on linked servers 🤗 So any farm instance farm that is do fast that this would benefit from this? 🤓😁

Hey Archvaldor, you said (At 4:37) that when normalised you can get to 17k an hour. If instance lockout is only 10 per hour, wouldnt the profit be alot less. Or does it not matter as you are not killing any bosses?

By normalize I mean adjust for instance lockout. So if you can make 6K in 20 minutes then in total running 3 lockouts (30 runs) will net you 18k (take off 1k because of the time spent porting out and in).

Step 1, max your shimmerscale and blood-stained bones gathering skills by talking to the skinning trainer and completing the quest. Step 2, go run AD again and you'll see a huge improvement.

Yes, but even with exploits I'm not going to pretend it is exactly easy. Look at the math-a normal person with a job has maybe 100 hours of play-time to get the bruto before the xpac. The standard player might be able to make 5-10k an hour-so you can't do it. There are techniques on my patreon which can yield 30-50K an hour but even at 50K you are looking at 100 hours of play so you might just squeak it but its going to be hard. Sometimes there are techniques on my patreon which can yield more than 50k but almost by definition they don't last long. Oh and I mean doing everything perfectly rather than what people actually do which is generally less efficient than the hypothetical numbers because we are all human beings.

I am a 459 havoc demonhunter, and can do 10 runs in approximately 25-27 minutes for Atal Dazar. That's a lot of effort to go through (not to mention you gimped yourself for that first run) for a very minimal gain. My routine is to do 10 runs, log out. Log in, do 10 runs, then do all my crafting at the end. I am currently making approximately 14k/hour without "exploiting".

@@archvaldor Not saying that at all. Just that with only 10 instances per hour, you are only getting 9 Atal runs in, thereby reducing your raw gold by approximately 10%. Not to mention when you log out (which you would do if you are maximizing uptime on the darkmoon firewater) you would lose your access to that dungeon I believe. My strategy is the same as yours, less the raid trick. Just food for thought ;)

Hi there, alot of guides i see for stonehide suggesting making the pants. Are the shoulders not more profitable for the leather it costs? 1 Shoulder is 12 leather and vendors for 28g (38g epic) 1 pants is 16 leather and vendors for 36g (49g epic if im right) so for every 4 pants you get an extra shoudler - based on 1000 leather rounded down you can make 83 shoulders and 62 legs With no procs shoulders come to 2,324g per 1k leather and legs 2232 per 1k leather. Is there anything ive missed other than the proc for epic going up by 13k and not 10K? Apologies for comment friend who notified us of this farm mentioned shoulders but ive seen everyone recommending pants

I do on avr. 10,050g per 1h just by optimizing pulls to add all skinnable mobs and some humanoid mobs. I also kill humanoids on the left side as you enter the dung. but I do it before I exist dung. It takes me exactly 1h to do it and probably with firewater I could do it way faster so my gold/h would increase drastically. The only difference is that I don't do any skills resets because with all the AoE my boomkin has and the corruptions you gonna wipe the floor with those mobs :)

Yeah finding a spot on the Isle of the watchers atm is pretty shit. I use another spot. 5.8-6.5k per hr + stuff. Lower than the others but im playing another game+music or just a movie on the 2nd monitor so I dont feel the grind as much. Also do the shoulders yield more or its all pants? Lastly will the legendary fishing pole work since it turns you into a fish or nah?

@James Tomlin 1st tower is farmed by some multiboxer 24/7 lower area to that is farmed too. 2nd tower is where I used to farm but some funny guys taunt and skin my mobs lower areas are farmed too. I just move to where I can farm in peace while multi tasking even at a slightly lower income. Was funny when I got rank 3 skinning from the felhounds though.

And there's still players that insist that DH isn't overtuned. I do this with a DH that's around the same ilvl...2.5 min runs and no need for the teleporting trick as the demon hunter CDs are next to nothing and Metamorphosis isn't even needed due to the completely broken ability to heal from every killed mob. Great farm, tons of gold to be made and it's not super boring, only takes around 25-30mins plus the crafting time, and you can do that once a day easily and then have stuff like the Legion Enchant selling in the AH while you do it.

Her numbers are for a single lockout with a unoptimized run times, which she mentions. Most of the videos which talk about the shuffle mention double lockouts and usually dont count the downtime between lockouts.

I'm still not convinced about that ataldazar method because of the weird jump at the end, i try it but fall too many times at the end of the day for make it the very best way to farm this. I feel like there must be a perfect set up with a perfect route that has not been discovered yet. Have to say that rogue method and mage method looks like,for now, are one the bests. Edit: 1000g in repairs and counting : V Edit2: 70% of times my character don't take the jump even pressing the bar (annoying af) probably cause its a hard path and much preassure

I was spamming flamestrike while using purifying blast in an optimized aoe rotation with fire blast for crit procs whilst switching intermittently to greater pyroblast when the horde's numbers were depleted to single figures whilst keeping one eye on the ally front rank in case melee attackers penetrated our front lines ready to use dragon blast/frost nova whilst snatching a flower from the arrakoa area 15% increased damage dodging a very persistent and sociopathic rogue whilst using the flute that summons the birds at critical junctures of combat, whilst keeping one eye on the npc ally mage and switching to a dragon-blast heavy melee combat style in her tower or firing aoe around the mage from below while making sure we didn't lose a second of timewarp downtime combined with optimized use of the alliance battle standard on strategically pre-determined locations that are largely inaccessible to melee such as pillars using simple exploration techniques and barking instructions at my fellow players which is like shouting at a pony generally. And some other stuff but you get the idea.....

@@archvaldor I used to farm dungeons alot and you are right the spatial awareness and explorer instincts definitely improved my farming 100% especially as they grew. I also have a speed set for my dh, it's not the best set but my base speed is around 140% which is fun for farming and exploring both:)
