Nice fix. I like your explanations of what you're doing and why. Thanks!

I am a big fan of your work. For drilling with a trick bit, you have to hold the drill against your leg, so as not to risk injuring your wrist if it blocks because today's drills have a lot of torque. For those like you who are not equipped for inerting, a tip is to put plated aluminum on the backs.

If you went with a higher sanding grit on you grinder, you wouldn't need to do al those additional steps to make it look acceptable imo. Just go in with a 80 or 120 grit cubitron disk and you would be done, if the customer ask for more at that point. You could use those Scotchbrite pads for the grinder, it saves you alot of time and hassle that way. Still a decent job, that is undeniable, cheers

Did you know.? They make screwdrivers with steel cap also, so it is not that uncommon to hit screw driver ( ofc steel cap is for different use case ). In the end it does not matter, he is using what he had on hand, because you are probably keyboard warrior from basemen you are not aware that cost cutting is very common today, and in the end it results on you not having right tools on workplace ( he is also using his personal tools... ). Now go back in basement, an be quiet because you have no value to add to this video/topic...

No pickle/passivation after? Also I'd be very wary in future of ever touching the stainless with an old contaminated sanding disc
@ARCONEWELDING2 ай бұрын
Once it's done it's taken out of the Bay and it's down to whoever next to do their part, the fab shop only does stainless so any worn out discs would only be from stainless and oil from the car in solution
