Thank you for your comment. Check out the common settings page on our web site, there's info for the 2014 Arctic Cat 500 ATV with a link to the service manual. The pictures look like the Model-1 adapter, setting should be 0.68V at idle. Initially try the tool with black in GND, red in FB and green in 5V. You will know it's correct if it reads under 1V at idle and above 3.5V at full throttle. Send me an email if you have any trouble with the tool and I'll help you get going.

Can a TPS adjustment help with poor idle (stalls) and running rich? (2014 Wildcat 1000 4X)

Thanks for your comment. Yes, a TPS out of adjustment is definitely one of the things that can cause running rich and poor idle.

will it work on a 2018 tbx 700 h1?

Thank you for your question. Yes, looking at the service manual it looks like this motor uses the Model-1 adapter and a perfect setting would be 0.60V at idle. The manual says "With the vehicle off and the throttle plate fully closed, the gauge should read 0.58-0.62 DC volts and at Wide-Open Throttle it should read up to approximately 3.7 DC volts."

The tps voltage on 2014 arctic cat 1000 xt is 0.60v-0.64v not 0.5volts

Thank you very much for the comment. Please let me know if I'm mistaken, but the Wildcat (this video) is the SxS, and the XT is the ATV. If I'm reading the manual right, page 211 of the XT manual shows that for the 2014 1000 XT, the TPS range is 0.58-0.62. The XT manual can be found here: support.countrycat.com/posts/2799441-2014-500-550-700-1000-manual

@@idriscandar7112 Thanks again for the comment, I do appreciate mentioning possible errors. I don't doubt you that the motors are the same, but maybe the Wildcat is tuned different. The Wildcat 1000 (Wildcat X) manual shows 0.48-0.52, see page 122: support.countrycat.com/posts/2800593-2014-wildcat-service-manual

you are right. the wildcat has 0.48-0.52v I don't understand why the 1000xt atv has 0.58-0.62.they have the same motor. Maybe that's why I'm consuming too much fuel. 16-22 liters per 100 km

@@idriscandar7112 My guess is the demands on the motor are going to be very different between the ATV and the SxS, so they probably have very different fuel and timing maps. Or maybe the main motor is the same, but the ECU is different. Do you have the Wildcat or the XT?
