The Killers, The Strokes, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, Foals, etc, still relevant after 15+ years. You can hear the evolution of their sound throughout the years and the maturity they have reached. To me it is like back in day where Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys etc were around, now we got these great bands that just like the bands from the 60s will stay relevant in 20 or 40 years and on

Crazy how they've managed to stay relevant for literally 15 years Edit: chill tf out saying it's 17 years, I still think of the 80s as being 20 years ago Edit edit: when I say 'relevant', I mean by the standards of 'popular' music - distinguished by Liam Gallagher as being - "when the kids listen to you, you've made it" - Arctic monkeys are somehow able to make new, young fans over the years. Most bands fans age with them

Incredible live performance! How they could slay this song just as fab as when they were roughly 10 years younger goes to show how gifted and talented they are. Gosh, I'm such a fan girl! And, the crowd here👌🏽💓...

There may be someone who emulates Alex's voice perfectly, but never one who emulates what he eradicates as an artist, he and the band have a lot of personality

I'm a puppet on a string Tracy Island, time-travelin' diamond cutter-shaped heartaches Come to find you four in some velvet mornin' years too late She's a silver linin', lone ranger ridin' through an open space In my mind, when she's not right there beside me I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be And satisfaction feels like a distant memory And I can't help myself All I wanna ever say is, "Are you mine?" Well, are you mine? Are you mine? Are you mine? Oh, ah I guess what I'm tryin' to say is I need the deep end Keep imaginin' meetin', wished away entire lifetimes Unfair we're not somewhere misbehavin' for days Great escape, lost track of time and space She's a silver linin', climbin' on my desire And I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be And satisfaction feels like a distant memory And I can't help myself All I wanna ever say is, "Are you mine?" Well, are you mine? (Are you mine tomorrow?) Are you mine? (Or just mine tonight?) Are you mine? (Are you mine? Mine?) And the thrill of the chase moves in mysterious ways So in case I'm mistaken, I Just wanna hear you say, "You got me baby" "Are you mine?" She's a silver linin', lone ranger ridin' through an open space In my mind, when she's not right there beside me I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be And satisfaction feels like a distant memory And I can't help myself All I wanna ever say is, "Are you mine?" Well, are you mine? (Are you mine tomorrow?) Are you mine? (Or just mine tonight?) Are you mine? (Are you mine? Mine?)
