This song has become so popular and it wasn't even a single. This to me, shows that if they released more singles on earlier albums, I can't imagine how successful they would have been. They only ever released two or three singles on the first two albums. I think both could have been even bigger with more singles with more variety of style too.

I'd probably still adore you with your hands around my neck Or I did last time I checked Not shy of a spark The knife twists at the thought that I should fall short of the mark Frightened by the bite, though it's no harsher than the bark The middle of adventure, such a perfect place to start I'm going back to 505 If it's a seven hour flight or a forty-five minute drive In my imagination, you're waitin' lyin' on your side With your hands between your thighs But I crumble completely when you cry It seems like once again you've had to greet me with goodbye I'm always just about to go and spoil a surprise Take my hands off of your eyes too soon I'm going back to 505 If it's a seven hour flight or a forty-five minute drive In my imagination, you're waitin' lyin' on your side With your hands between your thighs and a smile

the fact i was here right at the front with my dad and had been there for seven hours straight just stood and they performed being my favourite band since i was 6 i can say that it was all worth it and i would happily do it again everything from the no toilet to the standing in the same position with people sat by my feet so i cant sit down. I miss them sm

In this arrangement, Jamie is playing the leads which he doesn't really usually do as either Alex or Miles Kane would play that part. So in the end (at around 3:51) when Alex was leaving the stage, you could see him patting Jamie on the shoulder, basically telling his bandmate that he's doing great.

To be fair, there hasn't been many rivals. Three of their albums so far have been majestic. But generally speaking, rock and roll is dead. Millennials are not creating anything worthwhile and if they are, it's hard to find. No doubt there is stuff out there. But it's hidden beneath all the pop shite and hip hop.

Some songs you just have so long to perform before you stop resonating with them and you can't tap into that raw feeling anymore. He almost sings it sarcastically now as if all that's left is a vague sense of foolishness when he goes back to that place he wrote it from and can't help but mock his younger self.
