Quick question: let’s say I transfer bitcoins from my Coinbase account to a hardware wallet but when I want to transfer Bitcoin from hardware wallet, do I need to go back to Coinbase or can I transfer it to a different exchange such as Gemini or something? What wallet do you think is the best for ease of staking and security? I was interested in Stax but I'm not sure anymore. I'm using trust wallet, would like a hardware wallet that is basically on par with trust wallet in terms of chains supported and staking direct from wallet. Any help would be appreciated. Great video, thanks, it' looks a lot easier to use than my NANO and Trezor, only downside at moment is the limited Crypto available and the fact that GBP £ is not supported. But, I am sure they will address these issues. Q) as my crypto is held in GBP £ if I transfer some eth to this wallet how will the currency demonination be shown ? That said I will definately take a punt and buy one.

I have 2 questions . . .1) why do some wallets use 12 word phrases, and others use 24? 2) If I lose my cold wallet, how do I restore my account? Do I need to restore using the exact same device, or for example, can I use a Arculus device to restore an account that was originally set up using a Ledger? If this is possible, how does the blockchain deal with 12 word phrases vs 24 word phrase? Thx

Not good. The point of having cold storage is that your seed phrase never touches a device which is or can be connected to the internet. With the Arculus, you get your 12 words directly through your mobile device, not your air gapped device. Worse, you even have to type it on your mobile device to confirm your 12 words! If you so happen to have a keylogger or any other malware on your device, your coins are gone.

Yes that’s right. If you hide gold under your bed it’s still worth more if the price goes up. But with Ethereum you’ll need to practice transferring it back-and-forth between your Wallet and Coinbase so that you’ll be ready if you need to cash out.

I want to buy this wallet but I'm not entirely convinced. It looks like a hot wallet with three authentication steps, I saw that you accessed your wallet only with the face id, it means that your cryptos are in the application and not in the card. that is the big question i have.

Guys this Wallet wouldn’t connect to your own node so is not private also if their server goes down you can’t transact. Every Wallet need to offer a way to connect to your own node for privacy.

@@CKD21 I agree with your concerns. But most wallets function like this. The Ledger Live app also relies on a connection to the ledger servers when performing genuine checks (which it does every time you perform transactions) This is indeed a weakness, privacy-wise and function-wise. But it shouldn't be a deal breaker when choosing a hardware wallet.
