Arduino TFT Display + SD card reader (KMR 1.8 SPI) | UATS A&S #16

In this tutorial, it is shown how to use a TFT display (KMR-1.8 SPI) with an Arduino Uno. I started this project to make a digital picture frame that works with SD cards.

What type of images can I put on the SD card for the Arduino to read it correctly? is it a jpg or png? and can it display videos? and do I need to install libraires for the SPI, SD, and TFT?
