Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors share a very similar art style and it's no surprise since they were both created by the same creator, Pendleton Ward! However, this doesn't necessarily mean Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors exist at the same time, in the same "world" or even in the same universe! But could they...? There's nothing saying that the 3085 of Bravest Warriors is 3085 AD. It could be 3085 years after the humans migrated from Earth to Mars. We know that Earth is deserted 1000 years after the events of Adventure Time, so it's possible the Year 0 of Bravest Warriors' calendar happens sometime in those 1000 years. In that case, Bravest Warriors would be thousands of years ahead of Adventure Time in the timeline, and not just 83.

Well, It was sorta confirmed that when Jake finally dies, his body starts to uncontrollably grow so PB has the bright idea to put his growing body inside the giant hole (in earth) until his body fills it, when his body decays, plants and life start to develop thus fixing the hole. All that can happen in less than 80 years so that's why earth doesn't have a hole in it anymore? Idk

It's actually possible to know almost the exact amount of time the Great Mushroom War took place relative to Adventure Time canon, thanks to Marceline and Simon. Marceline especially, since she's stated to be 1003 years old, and she seven immediately in its aftermath. And in Graybles 1000+, we see Ooo one thousand years in the future. So Ooo still exists then.

I have my own tgeory of these two being connected. You see in the episode where finn is building a tower in space to, "take daddy's arm" Bubblegum noted that finn's temporary energy arm was caused by emotion. Now as we all know, emotion lords are able to have amazing power. Now this is a long shot in the dark but both chris and Finn are blonde and I know it could be just a coincedence, but could Finn have gained the emotion power from a relative? Could it be possible Finn and Chris are related by blood?

Ehh one issue though. The Adventure Time comics ARE approved by the show's creator, yes, but Adventure Time's showrunner Adam Muto has said that they don't take the comics into consideration at all when making episodes and there are certainly a lot of things that occur in the comics that Muto has said just wouldn't work in the show's canon. That being said, there is still other evidence that the Mushroom War happened roughly 1,000 years in the past.

Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors are in the same universe. Finn's father Martin comes from the past and is Chris and Beth's son from Bravest Warriors. Bravest Warriors is set in the year 3085 on Mars. The Adventure Time year is unknown but is definitely far in the future from our time. Chris has a huge crush on Beth. Beth may like him back. However Danny hits on Beth a little bit getting in the way but isn't too serious. Next the Emotion Lord. The Emotion Lord is an immortal old man from the future and is Chris' future self. In the episode, "Parasox Pub" it is clearly stated "There is no you and Beth!" However there may be something more to this. Beth may end up with Chris and dies and Chris becomes devastated. Chris and Beth are 16 in the year 3085 B.G. (Before Glob) This theory states they may get married in 3094. Their son Martin is born in 3096. Chris and Beth raised Martin to someday become the new leader and make the Bravest Warriors an official well known group. Martin was not into this. His whole life he was forced into this. At age 27 in the year 3123, he is finally graduated and was announced by his father as the official leader of the Bravest Warriors next generation. After of years of being ignored by his parents and forced into this Martin broke. He shouted at his parents and ran away. Then an old man shouted, "The war is coming. The war is coming." Martin asked the crazy old man what he meant (PLEASE NOTE: THE OLD MAN IS NOT THE EMOTION LORD HE JUST CAN SEE THE FUTURE) The old man says he has powers to look into the future. He said the Great Mushroom War will strike and wipe out the human race in only ten years. He also had the power to open a portal 1000 years into the future. Martin hated his family and wanted a fresh start. So here he made the big decision. Martin decided to go to the future. The old man took Martin to a cliff. Martin was told to jump off. He speculated the old man was tricking him into killing himself. He said if he truly believes he can come to the future he will come to the future on Earth. Martin wondered why Earth and asked and he said just because. Martin jumped and before he knew it he was 1000 years in the future on earth. The year is now 4123. Martin is in an odd city where everything is made of candies, sweets, and desserts. He someone where he was and that someone shouted, "Oh my glob another human." The banana guards came and took him to their ruler, Princess Bubblegum. Princess Bubblegum needed to do test on him to make sure he is safe and not contaminated to other beings. She interviewed him about his time and how he got there. Martin said an old man took him here from 3123 warning him about an apocalypse. She knew just to put him with. Two other humans were there with a similar thing on how an old crazy man took them there and warned them. He met them. The first one was a 23 year old woman named Denise and had a 4 year old daughter Susan Strong. Denise was married at very young age and comes from the same time period as Martin. Her husband Carl Strong left her and left their daughter Susan with her. She just had to start over so her and her daughter followed the old man to start over. Martin and Denise knew they belonged together. They were approved safe and lived this new life in this knew world. They constantly saw each other on dates. They didn't want to rush through their relationship. After 2 months they moved in with each other.Finally after 2 years they got married. Over these two years Martin, Denise, and Susan lived in the Candy Kingdom. Over these two years Martin wasn't the nicest to the other residents of the kingdom making PB not so happy with him. This will be important later. Meanwhile back in 3123. After days of searching Chris, Beth, Danny, and Wallow could not find their son. Danny and Wallow were 54 years old and were not married or have kids of their own so Martin was the only next-gen warrior. After 2 months of searching they had no choice. They gave up and had a funeral. 10 years later came the war. Earth was being attacked by crown controlled Simon Petricov (Ice King) and nuclear waste dripped on Adam Lichman (The Lich). Those from Mars had to help Earth. Meanwhile back on Mars the Native Martians took their land back. 4 brothers Grob, Gob, Glob, and Grod became so powerful they joined to one body and became Mars' god. So humans and other aliens couldn't ever come back. Chris, Beth, Danny, and Wallow became leaders for the war. The war lasted 2 long years. They warriors took cover and survived. But they were seemingly the only surviving humans now all at age 66. Chris became older looking his hair just got whiter and grew a long beard. They lived in an abandoned mansion that survived the mushroom bombs. They lived off of canned food and surviving animal (like deer as seen in "Simon and Marcy") Almost 24 years later right before his 90th birthday Chris wanted to get back in shape. His wife and friend said, "What's the point we live in a crazy post-apocalyptic world and we're old and how did we live this long." Chris ignored this he dyed his hair, shaved his beard, and started lifting weights. Later the flu came. Beth got it first and died. Chris was so upset but Danny and Wallow were still there for him. But then Danny got it and 1 month later died. Then there were two and 1 and a half months later Wallow died. Chris was the only human on earth. He closed his eyes and cried and opened his eye and they were blue. After 65 years of absence the Emotion Lord appeared and said "Chris Kirkman you've become and Emotion Lord." The getting back in shape caused immortality. Then the emotion lord went to the parasox pub to warn their 16 year old self. Meanwhile in the year 4129 Denise is pregnant. Martin is happy. 9 months later the baby is due but here was a sudden flaw, there were no doctors who could deliver humans. Martin and Susan waited in the waiting room in the hospital and waited for word. They delivered the baby but Denise couldn't survive it being cut open was harmful and she died. Martin was brought but Susan waited outside. Martin blew a fuse and was taken away to the mental hospital. PB did not want Martin to raise the baby. PB knew just what to do with Susan. PB knocked Susan unconscious but gave serious brain damage so she created a robot brain to make her live and put her underground with human like creatures. PB hid the baby and left him in the forest hoping for someone to find him. Martin was messed up he put on weight, lost most of his hair, wore ridiculous clothes, and went to space where we was eventually put in the citadel. 15 years later is our current time in "Adventure Time" making it 4145 but was 4142 at the start of the series. Chris and Beth have a son. Their son is Martin who comes 1000 year in the future. He meets others from the past. They have a son named Finn. Susan Strong is Finn's half-sister. Chris and Beth are Finn's grandparents.

Wellp from what I know and what I see their science program is going spendidly they even managed to use it in a actual skate park. So I don't know which hoverboard program your talking about, you might be even talking about the hoax hoverboard advertisement that came out like around early last year but I definitely know that there indeed is a actual functioning hoverboard although it doesn't fly as you think because it is in downright definition a hoverboard which means it hovers above the ground in a minimum of an inch or in higher values. I believe I've stated my point and will allow any counter arguments or criticism of sort to be stated after this emote. :L

Indeed people think might think I might be referring to the 2 wheeled machine known as the "Hoverboard" that people bought a few months back but I am indeed referring to an acutal machine which its purpose is to lift its rider above the ground through the use of magnets positioned in an alternating pattern on extensions of the board rotating in high speed to produce a sort of repulsion against metal beneath a skatepark.

In regards to the year 3085, Adventure Time could be taking place a lot closer to then than you might think. We see a lot of technology left over from before the war, and it seems more advanced than what we have today, so the war could have happened well after 2016. As for the absence of the BW domes on AT's Mars, remember we only ever see one side of the planet. Plus, in BW they almost always refer to Mars as "Neo Mars" rather than the simpler name. From what little we know of Martian society in AT, empathy and kindness are important virtues to them. What if a large number of humans fled Earth during the war, and the King of Mars offered them the back half of the planet? What if they did this with several refugee species, creating a diverse society separate from Mars, ie "Neo Mars"? It could be crowded because the Martians only have so much space to donate.

TBH the timeline of Bravest Warriors is so trippy that it probably DOES take place in the same universe, but the timeline has been messed with enough times that it would be unrecognisable to anybody who wasn't already an emotion lord when the mushroom war took place, and therefore was unaffected by the shift in time...

I haven’t got to watch this yet , but I’m assuming it’s in space so here is my theory. If you watched the final episode of adventure time you see that jakes descendants travel in space. So the main character to this is either Fins descendant or actually a grown up fin, they just don’t call him fin because it’s a different show on a different network and are just masking it this way

I think that's a yes, this is story of Bravest Warriors after Adventure Time. Listen to this, If Bravest Warriors (Pendleton Ward's other cartoon) is part of the same continuity as Adventure Time, then it takes place approximately 74 years after the end of Adventure Time. This date assumes that the characters in Bravest Warriors use the CE date system, and also assumes that 0 AMB = 2010 CE. Bravest Warriors has its own set of historical events, but unless it is confirmed to be a part of the Adventure Time continuity I will not include them in this timeline. The main evidence that the two shows are set in the same continuity is an image that was shown for a single frame during Chris' premonition in the episode Ultra Wankershim, which shows planet Earth with a large chunk missing, just like the Earth in Adventure Time. A popular fan theory is that Chris is descended from Finn, given their blond hair and similar personalities. It's also conceivable that the rest of the humans living on NeoMars are descended from the Islanders. However, this is all just speculation.

An spanish youtuber of adventure time told me NeoMars is not the Mars we know. He says that in a certain point of the mushroom war some of the humans escaped in a spaceship to Mars, in which they were helped by TheKing of Mars, in there they acquired the technology to go out of the solar system, then they found a planet and named it NeoMars in honor of the people of Mars that helped them. He also says that the one who helped humanity to escape from the mushroom war was Moe, this because in an episode we can see a design in Moe's house that looks like NeoMars and Mars cities. Its just a teory, if I had any mistake, is because I am spanish...

when asked what year it is, in adventure time, it is answered that time doesn't really work that way anymore. that bravest warriors takes place in 3k something doesn't necessarily mean that they are using earth's current scale. if it is the same universe it is more likely that bravest warriors takes place three thousand years in the future of adventure time and humans (and others) have moved to mars, where society already existed but has been built upon.

Wanted to say 5:00 80 years is plenty of time for the adventure time universe to do such a thing. However in adventure time distant lands (spoiler don’t read further) fin dies as a old man looking anywhere between 70 and 90. Now while we’re not really entirely sure what happens after this there does seem to be quite a few theories that there was a war that devastated ooo and it’s human population for the second time. And we can’t exactly go before hand too far or we reach the other end of ooo that happened before the events of adventure time. While it’s theoretically possible the show took place 80 years before I find it unlikely they are in the same universe however. Both adventure time and bravest warriors have alternate timelines and realities and all that. Therefore it’s safe to say they could be related but very unlikely in the same universe. Then again who knows. You definitely can’t go before the first end of the world lore wise even the dates wouldn’t line up, it’s possible however that it happened way after the second end of the world. But the dates still don’t line up. I think they may be able to cross over but they are in different timelines. One where earth ended and one where it didn’t.

I am making this comment years later and can say a definite timeline exists for adventure time. We know the mushroom war happened around late 90s to early 10s as we see that earth is very similar in technological state and most cities are the same as our cities. Then we know from Marceline that she had been without the original Simon for about 1000 years (you were correct thinking about 1002 years passed). This means they are around 70-80 years apart. Considering technology advances at an ever increasing rate, it is believable that they colonized mars that fast. In real life, we plan to send people to mars in the early 30s and at that time, we would be increasing in technology at such a rate mars COULD be colonized within a few hundred years. Considering we see how technologically advanced the people in Islands are, you could believe that after leaving their main island, they got such technology to go to mars and colonize it within 70 years. With help from the current Martians, a stable society would be easy to develop.

Another little evidence of the shows being in the same universe is the Bee next to the Bravest warriors on the logo. Witch looks exactly like the bees is adventure time, also a little like Bouncy Bee from "Guardians of Sunhine" but without the spikes. This could of course be just because the art styles are very similar, but the Bravest warrior bee just made me instantly think of Adventure time.
