To be honest I was mainly taken away by the lovely Scottish music! Great video/test and tells good advice. Thanks! as it shows with reconditioned goods you run the risk of possible defects. I'm considering getting the mini 4 pro or Air 3S and been looking at eBay new & reconditioned options. Cleared the 'Watch' list and will get direct from DJI thanks to your video (or might go for the DJI Flip ;) ).

Surprising outcome Robert and certainly something to bear in mind, although in truth I've never been brave enough to buy any electrical item recon'd as I know next to nothing about things electrical.. Very interesting test. Good job. Maybe the recon unit was a return due to signal issues? or possibly antenna ipx cables could have been damaged when the unit was being refurb'd? Who knows, but as you say, it does cast doubt on buying a refurbished product. Personally I would not take the chance on refurb, especially when the new controller was only £200 extra. I appreciate that £200 is a decent chunk of cash but when spending close to a grand on an item, I would not take that risk. If the differance was say £500 then that could be a deal maker/breaker imo.

Loved the concept, the first thing I seen was the greenish circle bottom left on the screen never moved at all as on right hand screen opposed to the other screen, also the amount of signal loss was a bit concerning Being new to flying I was not sure about these things, but if any of your subbies can give me ANY helo with understanding these observation I would be eternally greatfull. Great vids tho, loved the sound track too Ta Windy 👍🏻

The compass (bottom left) can be set up in different ways - I had it set differently on each controller.

What refurbished should mean = Refurbished refers to a product that has been restored to a like-new condition after being returned or used. It goes through a comprehensive inspection, repair, and testing process to ensure it meets the original manufacturer's specifications. What refurbished sometimes means especially with mobile phones = Give that returned item a wee wipe, stick it in a new bag/box, take a few quid off it, send it out again and hopefully they won’t notice anything wrong
