You learn so much more than working at arby’s, cleaning houses, or at a factory too. All those places were full of drug addicts, and people who weren’t doing much with their lives, not all but most. I was a very hard working person no matter where I started, college would have taught me you can have more than a factory can offer you, than drug “friends” can offer you. She definitely needs to know it’s not an option to leave and give up once she commits to it. I never knew people, young woman could live a life like Laura, Tamara kalinik, Molly Mae, Julia Havens. I was raised half my teen years, through my twenties in Appalachia we didn’t know about what the world had to offer and my parents didn’t get a chance to be there for those important years of my life. I hope Eryn stays and finishes school.

@@Rinney88 what a ignorant ass thing to say because a dear friend of mind who went to UCLA started.off with addie pills then pushed on to other stuff much harder that her COLLEGE friends introduce her too. Two other friends of mine who went to USC got introduce to heroine from their COLLEGE FRIENDS.. So don't give me that ignorant bullshit because you can meet drug friends ANYWHERE PERIOD POINT BLANK! Pppfffttt!! College just gives off the better illusion to make it seem like nothing bad like drugs happen there but when you pop that illusion bubble and see past the facade you will see that their are drug's heavily but their more of college underground type deal, their are student's struggling n' doing everything to keep up so they take their friends suggestion on taking addie pills and let's not forget those on campus rapes that get covered up so a lot of those females end up on pills or some sort of hard drugs to cover up their rape trauma.

I went to college. I have a business degree from USC. I network my way to my first corporate job as a single young mom, first generation college graduate. College gave me a career and stability. It gave me and my daughter a great life. My education and degree can’t no one take from me. Laura can’t guarantee Erin will succeed in social media, I would encourage Erin to have college as her back up.

Not everyone has lived through your experience. College can't work for everybody. That's statistically impossible. I have a very successful life and I don't have a degree. Nobody can take away my experience as nobody can take away your degree. It's not conditional to success. I am an untraditional educated person but that doesn't mean my education is less impressive. What defines a person is what they do with what they have. You made it because of you, not just because of your studies. You are probably smart and that's just you. College didn't give you that.

ER nurse here!! 🙋♀️ Bleeding after taking out a needle and bruising is 100% normal. The needle has to be inserted into a vein to get blood return. I know the bruising sucks though! Definitely ice it if it’s feeling sore ❤️

Here is a tip to you nurses learn or practice getting better with your needle work. In my life so far I only had one nurse who worked a miracle and like that older nurse told me she is veteran nurse so she seen all types of vains which is why she was able to insert into my mine so smoothly with no bleeding nor bruising because my vains are known as rollers or better yet a hard prick n' their very small almost invisible.. I don't want to sound mean but I do believe more nurses need to practice their pricking skill🌞😚🤗

The whole conversation about going to College or not going to College, I totally agree with the way people look down on someone who didn't go to College/University. I didn't go to University because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life at 17 years old. I'm 27 and still didn't go to University and I have the same job as other people who went for a specific degree in Uni. Going to University/College does not secure you anything, it's not a sure thing. MANY people here in Canada go to University and can't get jobs in the field they went to school for. It's the sad truth, and now they have a crap ton of student debt and aren't even doing the job they studied for. NO ONE should be forced to go to University/College or looked downed upon if they don't go to school period.

I have a Master’s degree and am a stay at home mom. Meanwhile, my husband did not go to college and worked his butt off to build a lucrative business that comfortably supports our family of four. And honestly in my area, I doubt I would make anywhere near his salary even if I were putting my degrees to use. Nowadays there are just so many avenues to make money, it truly depends on the person and how hard you are willing to work to make something of yourself. No matter the pathway, if you have a good head on your shoulders you can make it work. Wishing nothing but the best for Eryn and anyone trying to figure it out!❤

I love, love, LOVE how you both used this platform to discuss the fact that degrees don’t determine success. Coming from someone with a bachelor’s degree who actively uses that degree for my social work job, I still believe it’s absolutely VITAL to support the younger generations pursuing avenues that they have a say in. I felt so much pressure to go to college and I will spend a good majority of my life paying off my debts. I’m okay with that and have come to terms with it, but it’s important to embrace the idea that taking other paths in life won’t deplete your worth. ❤️

I hope you guys aren’t being too hard on yourselves about how you were on your grind early in your careers. While it’s true you didn’t have to do everything, hindsight is 20/20. But even more importantly, you guys didn’t have a ‘manual’ to go by on how to navigate that life. You were some of the firsts to live this life. And you also knew that nothing was guaranteed and it could end at any point. There was so much unknown. So you were doing what you thought you needed to do to maximize your time professionally and financially. That’s to be applauded, and your successes now reflect that dedication. Bravo. :)
