I love international snack wars. People eating food from other countries is just interesting, because it's fun to see how people who grew up with different tastes and cultures react to something totally new. It's especially fun seeing people react to things I'm familiar with.
@MrsAnnThropy10 ай бұрын
I actually agree so much, it makes me want international snacks really bad lol im American so when people compare our snacks to other countries' and say "its just not as sweet" im always so curious. so many of our snacks taste like they would be better if they were just dialed back a little bit (esp fruity candy & cakes). I also really love trying the international snack boxes they have w obvious favorites and some obscure (still usually traditional) stuff. I got bean jelly in one of them and it was.. interesting. I really love being in the age of sharing cultures and it makes me happy when it's done with respect and curiosity even if its a silly funny video. food critics who "try foreign food" for ""fun"" are really really starting to irk me. this is long, im passionate about snacks n food as an experience, not just to eat 😭🤣

Your country is awesome! Definitely in my top 3 places to visit. I remember when I was a little kid in school, I did a presentation on Australia, and of course I thought it would be a fun idea to bring vegemite for everyone to eat. Of course, being Americans, we were dumb and didn't know how vegemite was supposed to be eaten, so I bet you could imagine how that went... We all took giant spoonfuls of it and ate it, and it was safe to say I never gave any more presentations after that.
