As police in Madagascar investigate the horrific death of Cambridge University student Alana Cutland who jumped to her death from a small plane, there is growing concern that her death might have been the result of a psychotic episode caused by the anti-malaria tablets she was taking. So just how safe are these drugs? Joining us now is Professor James Logan, an expert in tropical medicine alongside army veteran, Andrew Marriott, who took the anti-malarial drug, Lariam, for a year while deployed in Sierra Leone and says that 17 years on, he still suffers from terrifying nightmares, debilitating anger management issues and chronic memory loss.
