I started playing violin in my early 40s, kind of on a whim. I ended up buying a Stentor II cause I didn’t want to spend too much to possibly find out that I don’t enjoy it. Turned out to be a fantastic starter violin! It was all set up thank goodness and sounded very good for the really inexpensive price! I stayed with violin so I upgraded to a much nicer one a couple years later. 😊

What if you kept the body of the violin but replaced the pegs, fine tuners, strings and bridge with good quality ones.
