I don't know if they are but I've seen young kids in Flushing wearing Public Enemy and CNN Supreme collabs knowing damn well they never heard those albums. If Trasher hoodies are in, kids in Flushing have them. When Fila was retroing the Grant Hills, Spaghetti's in 2014, nobody was copping. Clunky dad shoes become trendy a few years later, everybody's rocking Fila clunky shoes. People have been wearing Champion forever, now they're popular all of a sudden with Asians. It seems like they follow trends more strictly than any other group ever before. But there's no connection to the history of those brands or the references.

I think New York homeless get less money to stay in sneaker lines then Chinese. It is still going on. I have seen footlocker line for Yeezy black release. Half of 100+ crowd was homeless and mentally ill. That dude made an excellent point on high quality fakes. When something is made from same materials by same people only real difference is who gets your money. Nike and Adidas or some small factory in China. Funny part that small factory probably pays better money to workers then Nike. I never buy resell for me buying fakes is pointless considering high quality fake usually sells for MSRP. I like my sneakers nice but would never pay x2 retail and up for any shoe unless can sell it immediately for higher price.:)

Yes. China is full of sneakers. You'd never fund a brown leather classic style anywhere except for dressed office wear. In China biker culture is non existent. So boots are not worn. No western movies to show boots or leather shoes classic true appeal. So it adds up.
