The Holy Spirit is definitely moving and shifting perspectives as this has been impressed on my heart recently as well. Transformation takes time. Some individuals started "seeing" this years ago, others are starting to see it now. There is a need for change. Yes, we need to radically engage with the 8 billion who do not know God. It's for them and their eternity AND for the spiritual survival of those who have already been called to faith as well because we absolutely need one another. I appreciate the tenderness and compassion in which this topic was discussed. Ephesians 4:29-32 is exemplified here! I appreciate Will and Kyle both having a Christ-like character of sharing and seeking truth and understanding while also recognizing the need to allow others the patience and time for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives and ministries as well.

Live in the tension created by diversity and direct people to Jesus to learn how to love those different from ourselves. (MY recap of your words, Will) Paul really makes these same points in Romans 14 and 15. The way Jesus loves (Phil 2:5f and John 13:14) really humbles us. So gotta keep close to him to have unity.

Oh man, so much here.... I'll just say this: I've been saying for a little while now that folks like to say we've been letting the world into the church the last few years and I'd say, no, God's been revealing what's always been there. Your stuff is SO validating! I really hope your and others' work makes its way through the whole batch of dough.

During a prayer this year, this very prayer was prayed in regards to the recent lawsuit, 🙏🏾"God the world is making a way into our kingdom".🙏🏾 I remember raising my head and opening my eyes because it stood out in that moment. As you said, I'm praying for God to continue to reveal the things that have always being there but hidden or dismissed.
