In this episode tools with SoAlz brings you the very best tool testing as we examine whether cordless drills have caught and surpassed corded drills.
🔥 Get ready for the most EPIC power tool showdown you've ever seen! In this episode I'm putting the Corded and Cordless Metabo hammer drill head-to-head against the Milwaukee Fuel 2904-20 and Dewalt Flexvolt DCD999 Hammer Drills. Plus, witness the sheer power of the Milwaukee 2904-20 hammer drill as it takes on the toughest screws without breaking a sweat! No tricks, no pilot holes, just pure, unadulterated power!
🛠️ In this head-to-head battle, we're testing these tools to their limits, pushing them to drive massive screws with precision and speed. Watch closely as the Ridgid outperforms the competition, effortlessly driving a 6-8 inch Spax screws like a champ. Meanwhile, the Milwaukee hammer drill tackles an 8-inch by half-inch Spax screw with ease, showcasing its unmatched durability and reliability.
💡 But that's not all! Throughout this video, I'm debunking the accusations of deceptive testing techniques once and for all. You'll see every detail, every screw, every reaction, all in real-time, with no edits or cuts. It's time to set the record straight and prove that honesty and integrity are at the core of Tools with SoAlz.

02:52 The corded is 36V, it gives 36V to the drill not 120V.

I still have a corded grinder. I can't see buying a cordless one yet when I don't use it very often. I also have a hybrid blower. It can be corded or cordless. It seems to have more power when I use it corded than when I use it cordless, though.

I've got plenty of grinders in the shop, mostly Dewalt, I've got a cordless Makita and Milwaukee both 20v that I'll take on the go for a little bit of cleanup or something but you can't really cut with them and the batteries don't last. If you're working in a shop i would recommend corded grinders over cordless, but 15 years ago i would have said the same thing about drills and i haven't even seen my corded drill in years

@@garymericano I used to go to the junkyard looking for parts for my old Honda, and I really wish I had a cordless impact and grinder back then. It really sucks using a manual ratchet and a pry bar on a hot day.

@@DiligentDave1966 true, even if a cordless grinder clutches out/overheats every 20 seconds it sure beats using a hacksaw

@@garymericano Speaking of hacksaws, I have a DIY story for you. The tree in my front yard has grown so much that the roots have pushed the PVC pipe that goes to my sprinklers. It caused one of the sprinklers to break because it was being pushed up against the concrete walkway. I ended up using a small Husky hacksaw to cut the PVC pipe so I could install a new sprinkler fitting a little further away from the concrete. It worked great, but PVC is probably the thickest material I really want to use a hacksaw to cut.

The one thing I noticed in reading the specs on Metabo HPT batteries vs. the 110v power adapter is that the battery specs were a little higher. Part of the reason I haven't bought one. Also the price is not cheap. I think it runs around $150. I haven't looked in a while. You also would have trouble finding one in a store. Online is about the only choice you have.
