That actually happens once in awhile to bullet reloaders (and to me). Depending on the kind of loader you have, it's possible to end up with a bullet crimped onto a case without gunpowder, and what usually happens is that the bullet gets lodged in the barrel and has to be hammered out with a dowel. This is called a squib. What's especially dangerous is if the bullet gets lodged in the barrel and you don't realize it. Then the next round can impact the stuck bullet in the barrel and the whole gun can explode. It's no bueno. Brandon Lee was killed in an accidental firing of a squib that lodged in a blank gun on the set of The Crow.

I'll bet you were getting the holes in the sides of the earplugs because you didn't wad them. The gas from the primer was penetrating the rear of the earplug and escaping through the side. The off-center thrust might have had something to do with the accuracy problems as well. Try loading a gas check into the case before the earplug.

I don’t think adding powder in the casing increase the velocity of the projectile because the earplug being so lightweight, there is basically no compression behind it therefore the powder just burns instead of exploding...

you'r right... The bottom half is protected by the casing. The gas must expend and escape somewhere, that somewhere is right after the casing. Also, the gas go much more faster then the ear plug... That's the hole on the side

We use these when teaching horses not to be scared of guns. But not in a semiautomatic we use revolvers because they are way more reliable when it comes to training bullets.

The KOR’s style is to demonstrate a build or whatever he is going to do then actually use it. If all he did was upload how to make it instead of the use of that product the videos would not be as entertaining and fun as they are when he does it

Try the same with the re-loaded primers from one of your older videos where you used the impact sensitive match powder for reloading the primer tp see if they have the same amoubt of force

I've heard that hot glue bullets work pretty well. You'd need a bullet mold of course (like a Lee four cavity one) to cast them.
