Even if the Geode was solid it would still be a geode. They are just crystalline nodes that have formed in veins. Them being hollow is from when they first formed or acids have seeped inside that have dissolved minerals and then reformed into crystals. Sometimes they can be over filled and become solid which can happen a lot with quartz geodes.

I was doing a search on how to cut open some geodes I harvested yesterday. I got at least 40 and my three other co-hunters got about another 60 or more. I've been a subscriber to this channel for at least 6 months but didn't see this one until the search. Now I can determine which of mine are hollow and determine if I want to cut them with a saw or a chisel. BTW, my friend found one that had to be at least the size of a basketball and we couldn't lift it. We left it for another trip. If we could somehow ship it to you guys would you be interested in cutting it in a video? If yes, I'll contact my buddy and see if she wants to do it.
