I had something even weirder thing happen in a HoI +8. After a few deaths on frog boss, Orchunter (yes, that name) says need repair. I put down a hammer on the way to dragon trash. He stops at the hammer, while we kill the first pack. Then says "can someone give me 500g". After no response he TPs out and leaves group.

This was a great one to watch! I healed a +10 HoI last night and it was rough, too. Instead of a boomie running around with frogs, I had a warlock running around. Luckily, I was able to use Ring of Peace to force feed the giant frog and save my lock, twice :D

This is a wild run for sure. I have to wonder how much experience that bear druid has, because once you experience those stealthed mobs you tend to remember where they are, unless he thinks there's no counter play to their stun and just runs in because he doesn't know any better. And that double dragon pull was crazy. You pretty much need a CD and a heal for each breath, it would probably be very difficult to do as bear if not impossible.

The next run, I was in group with a hunter that did not kick or cc a single time the entire instance. Another 12. This bothers me as he was hard carried by everyone else picking up his slack on the stops and won't learn a thing. Even at ~3k rating, they still walk among us!

For me Halls is the "Atal'Dazar" of this season.. whenever I go there some crazy shit is going down.. unfortunately I didn't have anything set up for recording but the other day I did a +4 Halls on my healer I was overgeared for a 4 but needed wyrm crests. The tank paladin who was the keyholder from the pulls and movements he did I recognized instantly he must be a new player. All 3 DPS were bullying him through out the whole key and the tank didn't say a single word back. I tried to defend him but the mage threatened to leave the key as if I cared. The DPS was just as bad as the tank, didn't kick things had no idea on mechanics on the 3rd boss about hiding behind ice cubes etc. Eventually one of the mages did leave after pulling aggro before the last boss, and we had to 4 man it.. HOWEVER despite the tank being new and a bit bad, we never had a group wipe and timed the key so these guys were assholes for no reason.. I've made sure I can record next time I do low keys cuz I have plenty wyrm crests to get still. I messaged the tank after telling him he did fine but made mistakes and apologized for the assholes he didn't reply. Btw, russians live up to their russian roulette you never know what you get with them, they are either really good or absolutely terrible with broken af english nothing in-between.

2nd-3rd pull of the dungeon. Casting dash as a druid will put you on cat form. This will help us get faster to the next pack (altough we should change back to bear before the enemy hit us) I didn't saw him moving back to caster form, but that maybe my eyes missing it on the video. Frog boss... men i mean balance can typhoon the frogs, ursol vortex them, wild charge out of the way, heck he can even go bear form to survive longer. There's tons of stuff he can do to handle the frogs. Also the dragons debuff that hits everyone (on the path to the 3rd boss) can be removed by druids on themself simply by shapeshifting. its a slow and it gets removed by that (wich I dont see the balance doing. But the bear should totally avoid doing it else he will be slaped to death)

I didn't mind frog boss in s2, with a premade group at least (it could be annoying in a full pug) but Khajin the Unyielding drove me nuts every time as a healer on tyrannical weeks. There were bugs that made people die even when hiding behind the pillar and the throughput required to keep people alive on high keys was probably the most throughput required of any boss of the season by a country mile.

Back during season 2, a bunch of fellow other new-to-mythics and I were running this in m0 and got stuck on the frog boss and eventually disbanded after 23 pulls on it 😭 we were getting absolutely pummeled by the swoglets, and even though we figured that we had to kite them, we didn't know that the boss can eat the swoglets, so we were just getting wrecked by them every time since we just couldn't kill all of them. The worst part was the looooooong walk back, at least we weren't on a timer.

After that I started to just always stand in it as I don't trust people to do it. I also think it only eats one person, as sometimes nothing happens at all, so guessing it is a random person? It will give you 3 stacks of the poison though, so gotta be careful to not hit 10.

This happened to me this season because I was dpsing in season 2. I remebered tanks dying to the gulp, and I thought you had to have the frogs get eaten and it would have killed me. Was an easy adjustment though, not even close to deadly to be eaten.

I loved watching the Bears CD's on the big pull. Incarn was on CD. SI Was on CD. (dont know if he had RoTS - wast on the tracker) Barkskin wasnt on CD - but popped it right as soon as he died. Didnt use FR or Renewal. RIP. Pulls without healer - Pops Incarn as soon as he dies. My dude, needs to learn to bear.

It's certainly a trend. I'm just doing weekly keys at this point as I just can't deal with most pug groups. I get that people need time to learn mechanics, but end of xpac is always a huge mix of people that know what to do and absolute learning groups.

​@@heythereguysitsMetro He was almost rage capped before going cat form 02:00 (which dumps your rage) to run 15 yards, so no, there was no value to that 🤣 Not to mention, shifting out of bear form close to mobs can easily get you killed in 1-2 hits. Why he went human form after could have just been fat fingering, like accidentally hitting a heal or any spell that takes you out of Bear/Cat form. Another thing is he almost never uses Incarnation, which is the equivalent of having DrW + Vamp up for 30 seconds. You can even pop it before the key starts to have like 15 seconds left of uptime, with the CD already reset. The frog boss is also super easy. You can vortex the adds to keep them close to the gulp, and on top of that you can dispel the poison stacks off yourself. It's fine that people don't know mechanics, but I don't understand why this guy is tanking a +9 key when he doesn't know the bosses or his own class....

EU servers are like this sometimes. Tracking it myself but it definitely isnt as bad of a disband rate as what you show in US servers. Usually it is pretty normal, keys get timed (at least 10 or lower) or if not timed then people finish it anyways. However from time to time you get a group that is the most toxic thing even rivalling some of the meme groups you showed from US servers or just simply people giving up mid dungeon because ??? reasons. Disband rate for me so far is around 9% out of 120 keys.

As an EU pugger i can whole heartedly attest to this being the case 80% of the time.. the language barrier is honestly unbearable sometimes. Seems like the druid was underskilled, had connection issues and eventually just got embarrassed and left. which is not an uncommon thing to see, at all.

Can always just avoid pugging, but I get ya. Its not getting any better by quitting though. It takes all of us who are bothered by it to actually stand up and push back against this. If you quit, those players doing that only become more and more the majority.

That tank druid has the mage tower ( Post Legion ) mog. That is not easy to get at all. Some one with that mog should be playing better than that. Also the dungeon is a +9 , you should have a basic understanding of the dungeon layout by then. Maybe this guy bought that account or used some kind of boosting service.

@@heythereguysitsMetro I'm okay, just that druid was horrible to watch :D I'm having a hard time believing they did not do this on purpose but maybe they were new to tanking. God knows I did some stupid stuff when I was new to tanking just because I felt under pressure to be fast.
