i think for the website blocking, you just need to set your dns to google dns to access every website, if not, most. happens to me at times no matter what service provider it is. yeah, maybe try that first, setting your dns too google's. only use vpn if it's region blocked, unless it says so, it's just a dns problem imo

For me Converge ICT is the best... But Globe has improved their service actually.. PLDT is the worst

It also depends where you were located if your in NCR, You will have a good speed for PLDT us in Taguig PLDT here goes above 300 mbps? I tested it, But most of the time they speed capped my internet speed to 100 Mbps if you don't pay your bill in time. TL;DR PLDT is the worst in Surigao Del Norte which PLDT is always down there if there is a Electric outage.

case to case basis... in my case pldt is the best on our location... initially subscribed to their unli fiber plan 100mbps but since we are a long time subscriber they bumped our speeds to 350mpbs and gave us free 2 pcs wifi mesh... also rarely have a downtime, on average twice a year....

Hi, it depends on the location or the kind of internet service you're using at. There are locations that are not really stable or reachable especially in countryside/remote provinces or isolated islands. There are also internet providers that are not stable or steady enough to provide due to some bad facility/equipment they're having. You're lucky enough if you have an efficient and steady internet service in your place...

Been with globe for 4 years. Throughout those years, it's been down 2 times only-again 2 times only(when I'm awake since not sure what happens during I'm asleep). I'm living in a small city here in visayas. :)

It is. I mean, almost zero downtime. And those 2 downtime I have recorded, it only lasted for a couple of hours. Plus I don't live in the middle of the city. I am almost at the boundary of the next city. Btw, my city was featured in the top 100 green destinations and was recently nominated in the 2025 Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Community-Based Tourism Awards. Proud from resident of Sagay City. If you love seafood, aside from Roxas City in Capiz, tourist should try our city.

You are just so lucky because you are in BGC and they do have good connection in that area. I used to have G-Fiber. That is true they have good fiber connection as long within metro manila. Globe should sponsor you Ovela.

Most of the blocked websites are porn related anyway, so no one has to bother about that. But I did experience a couple of instances where its a legal website yet it got blocked for some unknown reason. Had to get a VPN to use it. But I only went there once only so no problem for me. Plus, having Globe in BGC is a no brainer since the place is owned by the Ayala family, who also happens to own Globe.

I use Globe Prepaid Fiber cost me 200 php per week for 50mbps and 400 for 100mbps.. and an alternative prepaid 5G fiber PLDT wifi. both prepaid i'll just reload whenever i just need an internet.

I'm from Mindanao i have Globe fiber 500mbps plan for 2k it's best for me also i'm a heavy user i consume around 4tbs a month just fine no throttling down at all

You are probably living in the or close to the *Ayala * BGC meaning Market Market, Serendra , High Street area They are the owners of Globe which explains Why You have good Broadband (Globe) connection Smart territory in BGC is around the Forbestown area try to use Your Smart 5g there to check if it will be a LOT fadter

If those internet providers like PLDT, GLOBE, etc. see your vlog, they'll feel that their pricing with that speed maybe too low. So, you'll be to blame if they increase their prices soon.....lol
