Are FITVILLE Walking and Running Shoes Best for Your Feet?

Thanks Beth I have lots of Vivobarefoot shoes but they don't offer me enough cushion on concrete etc also I don't like to lose an inch or so to others as that leads to me feeling a bit too short ! Thanks for your prompt helpful advice.

I've been using the Amadeus model Fitville tennis shoe for the past two years. Fits great and has become my go-to tennis shoe.

I have the running shoe and bought one of the hiking shoes. I have two different arches on my feet and these are the first shoes that feel good out of the box. The material is synthetic but is actually pretty rugged. I agree with the lacing and eyelets. I took a small screwdriver and worked the lace eyelets larger. Found on Amazon but ordered my third different style from their website.

I love Fitville, I so believe in their company. I have such problem feet, their "Stride Core" are a God send. I find if you wear orthotics (rigid arch support), order your regular size. To avoid heel slippage, google "lacing" systems for heel slippage.

I purchased two different models on Amazon, one designed for walking and the other for running. To be honest, the aesthetics do not particularly impress me, although they are still visually acceptable. However, the comfort is undeniable. They are not comfortable from the first moment you wear them, unlike more renowned brands (such as Skechers) that utilize memory foam. Nevertheless, after months of use, these Fitville shoes still feel almost new and are becoming increasingly comfortable. I plan to try the running model for jogging in the coming weeks, but I have not yet resumed running. With these shoes, my feet appear large, but I must admit that this may be due to my wide foot - I am 5'8" tall and wear a size 10.5 (US).

I have a pair of Fitville Stride Core shoes. They are comfortable and for me they run about a half size larger than normal. What I don't like about them is the laces. They use these round laces and no matter how tight I tie them they always seem to come loose. Other than that they seem to be fine and I've had them for about a year.

I have/had mortons neuroma, the toe box on these shoes looks too narrow, and there is no flexibility in the sole to strengthen your feet. Do you have any recommendations on barefoot style shoes that can also fit toe spacers, I would really like your opinion in this direction.

Following the instructions on the website, it is important to actually measure your foot, to order the right size.

The different models that I tried all felt different... it might be that newer or different models run small. The best option would be to look at reviews for the specific model you are interested in, double check the website for recommendations on measuring your foot and size, and then choose the best option for your foot.

I have two questions. One, would the Stride Core last at least 350 miles? I walk a lot, and I've been burning through my shoes a bit too quickly. Two, are they waterproof. None of the shoes recommended by my podiatrist are, and that's problematic since I live in a relatively wet, snowy area. Thanks; great review!

@MitchMitchellStories, I think that that Stride Core would last 350 miles based on the appearance and feel of the materials. I didn't wear them for many miles, so I can't guarantee it, but I think so. They are not waterproof but I just did a quick search on FitVille's website and they offer one pair of water-repellant hiking shoes. Since I didn't do a review of this particular pair of shoes, I don't know about the sizing and can't really recommend them, but overall I'm impressed with FitVille. All the best!

Thanks what about the drop from heal to toe I found the drop too much pushing my foot forward. I am wondering if other shoes of there’s have the same drop as that was my main beef I sold/gave away my three running shoes which were the first two shoes you reviewed. I can’t find any info on the drop which is important for me and I would think others

Nearly all running shoes have a higher heel than forefoot, including all of the shoes I tried from FitVille. To get away from the higher heel and into a flat foot shoe, I suggest looking for a lightweight track shoe designed for sprinting. It won't offer as much arch support or cushion but might be more comfortable for you if the slope from heel to toe is bothersome.

Hi - I suffer from Haglunds deformity so try to avoid shoes that press too tightly on my upper heal bone. Do you think the Fitville shoes would be suitable for me? And thanks for the useful review.

These shoes have a lot of cushion at the back of the heel and a thick pull tab at the top of the heel, just above where your bump is (likely), which might leave a good amount of space + cushion in the area where you need it.

Since these are a wider than average fit, they should provide a good fit without aggravating the corn. These have a different fit than Oofos and I can not say if one is as good as the other. It really depends on your specific foot and which one feels better.

Probably best to call Fitville and ask them specifically about sizing of the shoes you are interested in buying.

I tried to adjust by ordering down a size, since it seemed the shoes run big, but ended up with a shoe that was a little too small. In my experience, the three shoes were sized differently, which makes it difficult to know which size to order.

Hello Frank, since all of the shoes I tried had medium arch support, I do not know if any of these would be great for flat feet. But Fitville makes many different models, including a few that were released after I recorded this video. I recommend contacting customer service at Fitville and asking for their recommendation for flat feet.

They are not so bad but I received a pair w/o one sole missing. Compared to my 990 and 993 NB sneakers they much less quality and much less stability. Sorry can not recommend them
