@@Freddie-n-Sage Not to mention their debt alone will assure they first need to dig their way out of the rubble that was their financial life. Meaning when they say they own a home, if they have a mortgage that means they are actually obligated to pay off the debt on that property first. And even if they hold the deed itself, the government still charges annual property tax, which means even at best everyone is still just renting.

I live in my van. I am not homeless, I am houseless. It's much easier for me because I have a roof over my head. My problem is trying to find a place to park to sleep. I knew during Covid I wasn't going to make rent and I was going to get behind so instead of spending my small amount of savings on rent increase I bought my van and fixed it up to live in with my dog. I am 62. Most of the people who come to this place are people that want help. But as you see there is not enough places like this. There are rules to live by and things you have to do to stay there. Some people do not want to live by society's rules, some people will not give up their pets. I know I wouldn't give up mine. Then you have the people who don't mind being homeless. It's easy to be homeless in Florida. What most people do not know is many of these people have warrants from other states and they have come to Florida trying to live under the Radar. You would not believe how many criminals on the run are here. When a homeless person is asked for an ID from a Police officer that are not as likely to be questioned as to why they don't have ID and unless they are arrested and fingerprinted the cops never know who they are. Many, many Pedo's in our woods being as nobody will rent to them. Everyone has a story. But most of them were the people that were one paycheck away from being homeless or became messed up on drugs and spiraled down. Most are decent people. And just so you know, homeless people are always on the move. If there is a better place in another town they will go there. Word of mouth is their Social Media and word spreads fast on the free Obama phones. There are places that do try and help like this one. People get help here if they follow the rules. If you noticed there is not a bunch of trash laying around, that's because someone in there has a "job" keeping it picked up. People do their part to keep it nice when they want to be in a decent clean spot. There are portable showers at this location. If your caught with drugs, come there drunk or start fights out you go.....as it should be. No everyone wants to be helped. There will always be homeless people.......... In closing, the people that do not benefit from these places or get help are the homeless with Mental Health problems. Unless something is done to help these people with mental health problems that are stuck in the revolving door of homelessness nothing is going to happen. Half of the homeless population has mental health problem or underlying unseen and seen physical disabilities that stop them from working an 8 hour day. That is the major problem. Drugs are second. Merry Christmas 2024 to anyone reading this.

Why not interview a few people? Imagine you are in a wheelchair needing to go to the bathroom. Then imagine trying to use one of those outhouses or clean yourself up after things go wrong. Where do you get food or water. Ithink that if you offered to take someone to a restaurant for a meal you could learn more than going inside. Purchasing recent images from commercial satellite companies would also tell a great deal.

I get up at 5am before the cleaning ladies come to work. Wash myself up in the bathroom in the lobby and go eat the free continental breakfast, but I always leave a $5 tip for the worker. I have two 20,000 mah that I charge in the lamp department at Lowes, plug the power pack in, hide it behind a few lamps and pick up the next day. I shower planet fitness. North Tampa toward Lutz was always known as "Suitcase City". The reason for this was the steady influx of destitute masses being brought in and dropped off by busses from unknown locations. To this day it is a high crime poverty stricken part of Tampa, as to where all those people ended up brought in day in day out is anyones guess. But by my calculations since the 90's, the amount in vs amount there, never seemed to match.

It's definitely not any better in Clearwater, FL. I'm a Veteran and the Hep Center is a program setup for failure. They had placed me in a room with 4 other males. One of them had severe PTSD from his childhood, there was another male that was not even a service Veteran as I was informed he had done time in prison. The other male had a severe snoring problem that went on for hours from the evening to the am hours. The food there was not healthy and they served sweet tea and fruit punch for breakfast. The cigarette smoking area was directly in the front of the doors to the cafeteria. There was only one bathroom with 4 males in their assigned living quarters. The location was near the hood. Some people there had substance abuse issues. The staff had rules in place that did not allow people to have their own personal snacks and they did random sweeps early in the AM to take away any food items. The air conditioner was always set too cold and there was no way to adjust it from the room. Random fights would breakout at any given moment. As a Veteran the program was for 90 days and after completion they were supposed to help assist with a place of residence, but from a perception of mental health I felt as though my sanity was on the line not knowing what to expect and there was no security to have a peace of mind. It felt like a jail program and after a month I had to leave for my better judgement before things got worse.

They are hiding. They are living in parks, the woods, bushes everywhere. I know because I have to clean up behind them. I even had to clean a homeless camp in a cemetery. A majority of the homeless don’t want help. They don’t want to live by the rules. They don’t want to stop doing drive and drinking. Yes, they are in the streets, all over and I was told they were being dumped here. I was homeless before, so I feel for some of them but being homeless doesn’t mean you have to be disgusting! They poop on the walls, wipe with their shirts and just throw it where ever they’re laying. People wouldn’t bother the homeless if t they didn’t bring attention to themselves. You leave a huge, dirty mess in someone’s neighborhood, they’re going to call the police and the police is going to call us, and we have to clean it up. Something has to be done about the homeless population. Maybe some of these rich people here in Tampa should come together and build a huge apt building for them, and give them like a certain amount of time to get on their feet. Maybe have counselors, and case workers there. But again, that’s for people who want the help. No body is doing anything to the homeless, all I see is an increase in the population.

I'm sure the goal is to get the homeless out of sight so that they don't cause harm to the tourist industry, which Florida would not fair well without. There are a lot of these people that choose to be homeless. They choose that because they don't want to jump through the hoops or follow the rules that the government is asking of them so that they can have housing and benefits. They would literally rather live in a tent and outside and in that area, then to be under the control of someone else's rules. That road looks pretty wide. If the people don't want to live there is normally help for them if they follow the rules that they're given.

It's republicans in Florida cashing in on federal homeless dollars in the millions The federal government provides funding to states for homelessness assistance through various programs, but the exact amount per person can vary widely based on the specific program and state needs. For example, the Homeless Assistance Grants (HAG) program, which is part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), allocates funds to support services like emergency shelter, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing. In 2024, the President's budget requested $3.7 billion for HAG, which aims to serve over 750,000 people experiencing homelessness each year. Look up on the city property tax data base site who owns that property. My money says it's a local big money player a politician or a buddy or family member... cashing in. It's easy to look up..

You should donate all your KZbin revenue to the homeless since it’s derived from showing them! Bro, first you said 100’s of thousands down to 30,000!
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS
@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Ай бұрын
1. I estimate its 100,000. The state of Florida claims its 33,000. I started KZbin as a business not as a charity. I have $300,000 of my own money invested into KZbin.. i haven’t made $2 off KZbin when you consider my investment. Homeless videos are less than 5% of my channels revenue… i am poor why would i donate to the homeless why don’t you demand the rich do it instead?

@@MitchelltheBarbarian I started in 2012, thats 23,000 a year. Which is basically my entire income. I have put my life work into this i deserve what i have. Who hired you to be my accountant??? Go worry about yourself i am doing fine without you. I work and my entire income gets dumped back into KZbin to make it grow. $300,000 ain’t crap in this country the corporations make billions and they pay to have homeless removed not interviewed get the crap out of here please
