Who has ever thought about what emigration does to sending countries, instead of what immigration does to host countries? We often forget migration is a bilateral exchange between two cultures. At TEDxHeidelberg Sulin shared an unheard perspective on migration and challenged all of us! Sulin is an economist, researcher and migration adept.
After graduating from the Paris School of Economics, she worked as a researcher at the Department of Economics at Harvard University in 2015/16. Currently, she is working at the German Center for Integration and Migration Research. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

My family came to Canada in the 1600's Now my people my way of life is all but gone! While we boast the value and way of life of these new people who did NOTHING to settle this land like we did! And now I have to sit back and watch as the food I grew up with and activities I had partaken in are GONE! And what do you do? You welcome them! You help them! But in doing so you kill us and the land we created! The way of life we created. . . They fought 2 wars to give us what we have! And this, THIS is how you thank them? Then you are not my people! And We strong and native people of this land DO NOT CLAIM YOU! If a war breaks out and you want to go " HOME " WE DO NOT CLAIM YOU! I fight for this land! And I call it home CAN YOU?

Your entire data seems to missing the main cause that is "why the migration is happening in the first place" and "what is root cause of it"- mostly it's in the cultural values that they have developed in their communities that led to development of factors such as war, lawlessness, weak action on crimes and criminals, no action as communities, to much religious thinking than scientific one, etc's. As for culture the most important factor is community which embraces it after understanding its values, and its needs to happen both ways. Right or Left views are all just subtle translation that no one know how to represent the culture in a way that is made understandable and accepted by all. USA has been blessed with leaders who have made their country great by putting nationalism first whether they commit anything in the world, their nation comes first and they would like it's values and culture be protected, so it's natural to see that type of attitude. Overall what are you saying is not a scientific backed data which represents true ground realities, its just made to look that way. Immigration is a serious issue of culture and communities, simple acceptance based on humanitarian values is not the answer.

You want to create a paradigm where if we don’t agree with mass immigration, then somehow we are not checking ourselves? That’s a nonsensical argument. No wonder you laughed at the end.
