Are language classes worth it or should you learn a language on your own??

Not sure if you should take a class or learn a language on your own? In this video I break down when you might want to consider taking a class, and when it might be better to go the independent route.
I also throw in my experience with the benefits and drawbacks of both so you can make the best decision for YOU! Oh and by “class” I mean a class you can choose, such as at a language learning school, online, or a 1 on 1 language tutor.

I have a question. I am really struggling with finding the right way to learn a language (Spanish) I have tried so many different ways, class, app, Rosetta Stone, and still struggle finding the "right system" The time it takes to even discover the right system for me is why I am not learning. I think my problem is unique because there are hundreds of systems out there and I dont have the time to waste keep discovering. What advice could you offer please? By the way my biggest problem is short term memory and I never progress.

We all learn our native language without going to school - But if we hope to learn how to read and write properly, and how to use vocabulary most effectively, then we must learn it in a classroom with a skilled trained teacher.
