As a Chelsea fan, this season should be considered a re building phase. We have new exciting attacking manager compared to conte and mourinho. He needs time and patience to implement his style and philosophy. top 4 and europa league would be a good season.

Chelsea are in nowhere near as much trouble as you've said. Hazard and Kante are both staying, Courtois is leaving fair enough but We'll find a suitable replacement. The start to the season may be rough since Sarri may take a month or two to implement his style but after that Chelsea will be performing way better than we've seen in the last few seasons

True . First , it was a record breaking season , such season's don't happen twice , even Arsenal went unbeaten and the next season got smacked around senseless . Teams now only take a season to adapt and counter a team's style , they will be successful in Europe but in the league , it's just tougher .

Eyebrows were raised when Liverpool signed Van Dijk initially too and, admittedly, he didn't look great the first few games (I believe one match was the 1-0 defeat to Swansea). Once he got comfortable within the system, his value shone through and continues to do so. I believe Alisson will be similarly effective after a few games of settling in and the early part of our schedule should help out because the matches are not against the heavy hitters.

The title will probably be city's but could quite easily be Liverpool's if they can stop silly goals going in. BUT Tottenham have been doing well at putting pressure on in the last few years, although Arsenal might click with the new coach, despite this Mourinho still has it somewhere hidden inside him. Chelsea look dead atm but may will just fly like napoli did. I dont know but ill say city because it the easy option.

Mourinho isn't the problem at United, The United board is the problem. Woodward and the Glazers need to go. Mourinho wanted transfer deals to be completed near the start of the window. Ed Woodward and the board are taking the piss, now we have no new players, and are panic buying a defender. Obviousl Mourinho could do better with the players we have, but I can't blame him for being annoyed at the lack of transfers.
