I have no problem with Norway scrapping VAR. Personally, the trade off of spontaneous emotion for absolute precision isn’t worth it. I’m not tuning into football for assembly line precision. And the fact I can hardly get excited about goals being scored anymore (because of reviews for every little infraction in the build up) isn’t worth it to me. I’m perfectly fine with mistakes happening.

Every top team goes through this cycle. They were fine and beginning of the season then hit a rough patch and people say the craziest thing. There is a lot of off field stuff we don’t know and the squad is aged. Pep warned what would happen when you play with players who’ve won everything. It’s harder and harder to motivate a player to eat who’s not hungry. Only reason Liverpool still fighting now along with Arsenal because they didn’t win much when city was in supreme form. If Pep stays, they are likely to bounce back next season to be at least a serious contender for the title, and back in the top 4. The Sword of Damocles hanging over the club is the 115.
