Back when I was a bit more suspicious of KZbin historians in general, I actually avoided this channel a bit, but a few years ago, I saw that you did a whole video on being wrong. That dedication to accuracy and refusal to feed your own pride is why I subscribed and have learned so very much about history. Rest assured, my friends know all about machicolations. 1:00 I respect people who can easily make that admission when and where it's due. One would be surprised at how that's not as common a thing as it should be. As Aron Ra says "I'd rather suffer the momentary embarrassment of being proven wrong, than to remain wrong and never know it."

Every time I hear Shad say scabbard, I think, "but Shabbards are much cooler." Also he has to demonstrate how to sit because swords, that's why!

Around 8:40 is the transition from where the pauldron is not loose, to loose and starting to flop around and it just gets worse from there. However, I didn’t notice it until Shad the Mighty pointed it out. Mrs. Shad, thank you for taking such great care of our friend!
