Are young men quietly quitting on women? Yes, of course. Why wouldn’t they? Why quietly? Because they have seen men get lacerated publicly for saying what’s on their mind. So they just quietly check out. No one’s business but their own.

As a Millennial man I worked all housewife chores myself. That is the biggest fraud there is. Cooking everyday, cleaning, ironing, shopping doesn't spend you more then 8 hours in a weak of mostly light physical work. Raising kids that's another matter. But doing household chores and that's your only job is a bliss not slavery. Women make everything they do as some Sisyphus work.

I gave up on women and went MGTOW monk 22 years ago. After more unpleasant rejections than I could count, being lied to and left broken hearted by the women who I was stupid enough to love, and being targeted by workplace Feminists because I was breathing, I realised that the only way for a man to win was to not play the game. The most interesting thing that I noticed was that after women in my 'age appropriate' range passed the age of 35, more than a few of them began to approach me. It was a reversal of roles that felt strange at first, but I am used to it now. These are women who would have given me bitchy rejections when they were 20 and fixated on 'exciting' bad boys. By the time that they approached me, their ovaries were firing blanks and they were looking for someone to finance Chad's bastards and their retirement. Why should I give a damn about either of those things? Women represent rejection, lies, betrayal, hypocrisy, unspeakable emotional pain and unacceptable legal liability. In return for what? An occasional five seconds of ejaculatory release inside a woman who probably hates my guts? I will pass on that.

She is engaged and was talking about how she has just "lost interest in everything" and was complaining about she doesn't feel like she has a meaningful connection with her fiancé and is just marrying him for security. An English degree in 1975 from a sound school would get you hired at a Fortune 500 where they train you to be a manager. The degree was proof that you are teachable, & the corporation would take a loss for the months or years of training it would take to be a fully productive team member. Around 15% of the population had a bachelor's degree or better. Today's corporations don't do much training at all, except "watch what the other guys does, you'll catch on eventually". There's no way they would hire an English major unless it is to proof read or to edit technical writing white papers. So it isn't that English is a bad degree in itself, it is that the market place no longer values the ardor it took to earn the degree. She might have had a grandparent who had an awesome career with just an English degree. We need federal law to require colleges to inform in writing to prospective students what is the graduation rate, getting hired in your field rate, average pay for new hires, & the percentage of people still working in that field 5 years after graduation. If most people in your major cannot find a job in your field, there needs to be full disclosure before the student signs up not after.

With the obscene level of culturally accepted gynocentrism in the West, it's a far stretch to think of this as a "patriarchy". Well, because 'patriarchy' doesn't mean what you think it means. You're expecting logic. But we're not in a world of logic, we're in a world where if someone 'feels' oppressed then it must be because of something, and since the laws in the West are largely, if not entirely, gender- and color-blind, they have to blame something else, and men are a convenient target because they're plentiful and obviously different (i.e. critical theory). There's no satisfying these people when there's no principle involved.

We are living in the hollowed out shell of a patriarchy. The patriarchy was mortally wounded with the passage of the 19th in 1920, it flat lined with hormonal birth control in 1960 and the associated sexual revolution and time of death was declared somewhere between 1969 with the passage of no fault divorce and coming off the gold standard in 1971 (in part due to the welfare state spending). We’ve been living off the carcass of the patriarchy ever since and the bones have almost been picked clean.

I used to work in healthcare as a nurse. I didn't have a girlfriend and after the last couple of disasters, I wasn't looking. But on a regular basis, I'd be asked if I had one, and my default response was "I've got no need for one. I've got Playstation and beer" as a bit of a joke. There were no chuckles or serious questions about why I was single. Usually I was faced with blank stares followed by a couple of weeks where women would ask me if I was gay (I'm not). They simply couldn't or wouldn't accept that a guy can just say "I have better things to do". 'Fun Fact' when women are turned down, they get vindictive and spiteful. I can spend 5 minutes a day cleaning my place and it will look spotless (hard wood floors and a stick vac that I can also use to dust). 10 minutes doing dishes for 2. I also cook most of our meals (our being my daughter and I), I have a mini washing machine that we use and it takes an hour to wash, hang our crap and let the fan dry it. That's literally the only time consuming "house work" we have. The mini washer can't hold a lot at once so we both wash 2 chagnes of clothes every other day. As long as you keep things up it never gets out of hand and never an issue. I was married but she passed away, she kept our place spotless and yet I never actually saw her do anything, mainly because she knew that you chip away every day and it stays nice with no bullshit. Dinner time rolls around and she would do all the prep work and clean up while I was doing the cooking. The moment the dishes hit the sink they were washed, usually by the kids. Nothing about housework is hard, I wish I could find a woman that would let me be a house husband in all honesty. That's the easiest shit I've ever done, cooking and cleaning. We also had 3 kids and 70% of Mai raising our kids was "go ask your dad". I was there FOR EVERY EVENT, whether birthday, PTA, recital, sports, everything and I still worked a solid 40 or MORE in most cases. I took off, came home, kicked the kids, hugged the dog and went back to work a few times. I'll never understand the mindset of women, ESPECIALLY modern women. This shit ain't hard, not even close.

That is exactly a REALLY great point you made. A specific angle not being discussed or looked at. Is that the issue? Straight girls don’t have a successful sister to emulate in their dating lives? If the older sister is a mess then she emulates the younger sisters and if the younger sister is a mess she emulates her older sisters? Most kids growing up (Gen Z born 01) only had 1 sibling and it was usually a boy-girl pairing parents wanted. Me and my sister were a BG pairing, my friend and her brother were a BG pairing, the neighbor kids were twin boys and they’d had a daughter to get a girl in the trio, the other neighbors were a BG pairing, BBG trio two houses down and our other friends were a boy-boy pairing. We weren’t friends with any family that had 2 girls in it thinking about it 🤷‍♂️.

Women operate in lock step because they depend on the group, not on themselves. They depend on their status within that group, not their accomplishments outside it. So they follow fashions, trends, and fit in. They later complain 'they were lied to', they weren't lied to about whether something was a good idea, they were lied to about whether it would make them popular and raise their social status. That's why misbehaving isn't a problem, getting caught (and thus diminished) is.

At some point, she would greet me with wide eyes and a big smile and purposely mispronounce my name. I would return the gesture. My job was to lift heavier merchandise around the store, help unload the weekly freight truck and do general customer service stuff. On the PA system, everyone else was called by their names except for the workers in my position; they just called us "stockmen". This girl would call for me by name, probably because if she asked for any old stockman, one of the other guys would potentially show up. She singled me out. One occasion, she called me on the PA by name. She needed me to put something up on the top shelf. I'm over six feet tall so I get asked by co-workers and customers alike to help with that sort of thing. After I put the item up, she said something like, "Can I just take you home with me? You'd be so useful!" (she herself was fairly short). Another time, at closing, I was sweeping the aisles and I noticed an item was not where it was supposed to be, so I grabbed it and put it in the proper aisle. It just so happened to be an aisle in her department, and she just so happened to turn the corner to see me putting it back. "Are you helping me with go-backs?" she said. "Uh Yeah," says I. "I love you." she said, staring at me. Was she joking? The time came for me to quit that job. In the weeks leading up to it, she would frequently beg me not to quit, and if I did, it would make her cry. And yeah, my last day she broke into tears as we went to our separate cars in the parking lot. I even felt a little sad too... ...but despite being a cute blonde with large boobs (oh yeah she had large boobs), she was also very pregnant by somebody else (probably explains the large boobs) and I wasn't about to get mixed up in all that. And it's not that I don't hate kids either; I would love to be a father one day (if they were my freakin' kids!). But I knew her personality from our conversations: she admitted to excessive drinking in the past, general misanthropic attitude, and a preference for exclusively male company. I knew she wasn't any good for me in the long run. I recount this episode from my life because it wasn't until much later that I realized just what kind of hints she was dropping on me. In the moment, it went over my head. I mean, I knew she liked me, but it wouldn't be until years later that I realized how close I was to getting some (albeit pregnant) ass. Maybe she figured if she could entangle me sexually, I would stick around for her and the baby. Whatever the case, she would've needed to smack me over the head with some of her nudes if I was gonna get a clue. So to Cappy's point, I don't think women are going to be so forward with their approach to men. Not for a serious relationship anyway. And also, that can be my anecdote of a time when a girl was somewhat nice to me, ulterior motives notwithstanding.

At Microsoft News they censored my comment about a female baptist minister who wrote a negative article about men, because Microsoft felt that terms like "anti-male", and "feminist" are considered "hate speech". I informed them that attitude is a partial cause for the decline in the American family as well as the decline in church membership.

I have been in a solid marriage for over 20 years and have a daughter. Even though these events don't seemingly affect me, I really sympathize with young and old men but even more concerned with the future. This culture is unraveling and what replaces it will be abhorrent as I can already see.

Humanity is broken, specially the women and obviously this affects the men. In some sense, I think they always were which is why parents of a girl were always interested in getting her married as soon as she hits the right age which used to be pretty low compared to today's standards. Maintaining a woman is a HUGE liability, even their own parents are scared of having to maintain her.

i got a hilarious but kind sad story to tell. have a sister whos right on the edge of forty. shes "bisexual" i say that loosely cuz she changes all the time and i dont talk to her anymore. shes a big leftie. ill leave it at that. but last time we spoke, she told me all her relationships atleast the ones in the past few years have all been like 2-3 months long. She never wanted kids, which is fine as im the same but As soon as we were done talking, i just laughed and shook my head. I couldnt believe it was that little. I obviously didnt go into it cuz i know if i told her what the problem was, she`d just deny it and say im "assuming or feeling that way".

27:30 "Are young men 'wimps' for not explaining their reasons and instead just dropping out?" NO! The young men who didn't attend the "Fresher meet-and-greet" were under no obligation to explain their reasons for not attending. In a "dating situation," there is an unspoken moral obligation (matter of courtesy) to explain to the other person why one wishes to "opt out" (rather than just "ghosting"). In a GROUP SITUATION, no such obligation exists.

the difference between “anecdotal evidence” and “empirical evidence” is just scale. One person reporting on a handful of personal interactions vs one person witnessing the result of hundreds of experiences vs one person collecting reports of thousands of experiences. When every single personal experience you have points to the same conclusion, it’s hard to convince me it’s not relevant.

The difference is statistical significance. An aggregation of anecdotes is no longer just anecdotal. It has statistical significance.

Yes, exactly. Even if only 1% of women make false accusations, a single false accusation can completely ruin a man's life. Do you want a 1% chance to go to jail every time you ask a woman out? Of course not. Even a tiny percentage is a big deal, because of the severe consequences.

Married a very traditional woman 35 years ago. We've had so much fun together. We didn't have anything when we met, now we have more than we ever dreamt of. We look around today at all the divorces, the custody battles, the cost of housing and education. We realize we were very fortunate with the timing. You only see this when you look back at the big picture.
