Does make sense that the 8ah and the 12ah charge in the same amount of time. If the cells are the same, then the charge time could be the same. Just depends if the charger can supply enough current for all the cells; which apparently that supercharger can. which I'm guessing is about 24 amps max on the 12ah and about 16ah on the 8ah. which means that supercharger at it's peak is pushing nearly 500 watts into the battery. nice. side note: I wish tool battery chargers had selectable modes. Fast charging is nice when you need it, but not so nice for the battery when you don't. Ideally i would like to see "Fast, slow, and storage" modes. Storage mode would be for only charging to about 50%. For now, I keep old chargers around just for the purpose of slow charging my batteries.

With my 6.0 XC pack on a stubby impact I hit the front of the pack quite often. It's a small gripe I know but when you see a powerstack and how small it is then it's like why didn't milwaukee do this since they push smallest form factor tools but not batteries

How sales aren't as reliable they're also kind of sketchy considering that it's just a pouch and not really anything else so it could potentially be very dangerous also they have to license those batteries from Black & Decker. And lastly they don't have the same power output that their new battery tech has if I'm not mistaken I do believe that Milwaukee actually is the first ones to use that technology because I think they developed it if I'm not mistaken I could be wrong though.

The extra runtime they state is because "not all ah are created equal". Basically as voltage drops, current rises and the higher the current the faster it drains. The tabless cells keep their voltage higher for longer so they're able to more efficiently deliver the current. Same amount of joules in the battery pack, just delivered more efficiently. This only matters if the tabbed cells are stressed, so running down the batteries with a fan they'll be within margin, but run it down with a leaf blower on turbo and you'll notice the runtime difference. Plus the cooler nature of the forge will also help as batteries lose efficiency as they heat up
