speaking of the state fair, went there on a forecasted rainy sunday. it rained most of the day. there was like no people in attendance, it was by the far the best fair ive ever been to in my life. had to deal with walking in an umbrella and mud, that was it. highly recommend 101/10

I do not believe in the edge rusher room, Greenard has never played a full season, AVG is past his prime and Turner is undersized and has to prove he can hold up to NFL blocking. Hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling the Greenard contract will be a longer term version of Davenport

Pumped for the next 4 years while we have an insanely stacked roster around JJ’s rookie contract. It’s gonna look a lot like what the Niners had around Purdy’s rookie contract, or what the Texans just did this offseason with Stroud. This might be the Niners last year to take advantage of that, Purdy is gonna get the bag. We’re gonna be the new Niners, with JJ having a higher ceiling bc of arm talent and mobility.

I understand the sentiment, but no the Vikings are not a top quarterback away from a deep playoff run. Would it improve our odds if we had a top 10 Quarterback, well I would hope upgrading at the most important position on the field would improve our odds at playoff success. We could have it all and still lose in the first round, or not even make the playoffs. We have 31 other teams and more importantly ourselves between us and a Lombardi. Again, I understand the sentiment but I hate the sensationalism acting as if we had a better QB we would be guaranteed a thing. Superbowl XLII Nick Foles I'd consider myself a new fan when it comes to Football, been watching casually forever but more seriously since about 2017. I'm sure there are more shining examples of a team having it all and failing to hoist the Lombardi.

Remember when Mackey said he'd stop talking about Kirk once he left they have talked about Kirk on nearly every show since he left they cannot help themselves. They had Kirk Cousins last year this year and next year for BELOW market value less than Carr/Jones (they are paying him 28 million this year anyway ATL is paying less for their QBs than MIN this year). But Kwesi said no. Would paying Kirk 40 million next year really have made any difference? We would have had Kirk on a loaded team for this year and next year. And then he can turn it over to JJ. Kwesi screwed up again. BTW Dallas Turner cost the Vikings 7 draft picks. Imagine 7 draft picks for 1 player lol.

HE DELIVERED the team didn't. Does Foles have the chip or Dilfer or Hostetler lots of QBs who were so bad they couldn't win 1 of 32 jobs WON SBs. Kirk has been a top 10 STARTING QB for a decade. You could say Stafford didn't have the chip he was 0-3 in the playoffs in 12! years and had a losing regular season record and guess what LA traded a young QB who in only 5 years had 3 playoff wins and had barely lost a SB to the GOAT and had 2x are many regular season Ws to Ls for Stafford and they gave up high draft picks. What did McVey and LA know that you don't that Mackey Judd don't know WINS AND LOSSES ARE NOT A QB STAT!

Stafford was 0-3 in playoffs and .450 in regular season in 12 years!!! LA traded a young QB who was over .600 in regular season and had 3 playoff wins and had barely lost a SB to the GOAT in 5 years... guess what not only did LA trade Goff for Stafford BUT THEY GAVE UP many high picks. WHY? Because wins and losses are not a QB stat. BTW Kirk took the WORST defense to EVER make the playoffs IN NFL HISTORY to the playoffs in 2022.

@@mikej.8885 Great points. I agree Dilfer, Hostetler, and probably a few others didn't have the chip as well. Foles, I dunno, he was a red hot QB, or sucked. Foles is impossible to get a bead on. He sure looked like he had the chip when he lit the vikings up in 2017 playoffs. That was disturbing to say the least. Plus, that year the Vikes had a pretty stout defense. It is possible Cousins is better than I think, but I have to look at his entire career, and his character. Kirk has always padded stats in garbage time. Kirk has never lead his team through leadership, or confidence when the going got tough. He strikes me as a QB that does not want the headache of being wrong, and having to answer for a poor play. He goes for his mass contracts, and doesn't want to make waves by taking any risks. Brady, for example won 6 superbowls with 2 different teams, because he is extremely smart, great leader, SACRIFICES his salary to get better players around him. Kirk doesn't know the meaning of the word sacrifice, and it shows throughout his career. I don't deny Cousins can have some great games here and there, make some super throws, but I question his mental toughness needed for a serious contender. I just don't see it from him.
