Are Mopars increasing in value??? (I Sold my Challenger for a GREAT price)

My buddy here in Santa Rosa, Ca. Owns a used car lot and he told me what drove up the price of used cars was Covid-19. When all the auto manufacturers shut down and public transit stopped, a lot of people still had to get to work so they were forced to buy used cars to get to work. He told me cars at the auctions were selling for almost double what they use to sell for. And the people that were getting stimulus checks were buying used cars. The prices will come back down when it gets back to normal soon. You sold your AT at the right time 👍👍👍

Good job...Ive noticed that new Challengers are below msrp In Vegas. Usually Vegas dealerships are a ripoff. Pandemic pricing I guess. Anyways I'm getting a 2021 T/A widebody All black. Challengers do have decent resale value. I sold my 2009 SRT8 392 $51k in 2011 for $48k. It was an Inaugural edition too. I regret it to this day but with a baby on the way I needed to buy a house.

That was the price out the door was maybe 48 or so. But the msrp was 54 so the 10k off was pretty good at the time. Really good actually.

For the more expensive chargers and challengers you can usually get about 8-12k off the price. I don’t know about the cheaper cars but I’d assume a bit less. But maintain that -~20% amount. So yes the resale is always bad but that’s also because nobody is paying full price. If dodge was like Tesla and didn’t discount prices would go up but nobody would buy dodges at full price (I wouldn’t). My Scat was about 50msrp and I paid 40.

How was your experience with the hellcat brakes? I had a 17 T/A 392 and mine were worn out after a year 15k miles and dealer wanted $2k to replace. I did it myself to save some money but still expensive. Drove it another year and 15k miles and they needed to be replaced again. Traded it in after that for a Bullitt, but still miss the big GoMango girl. That and the Matte Black was a PIA to keep clean.

There is an inventory shortage of used car due to covid. Dealers are keeping and reselling trade ins that they would send to auctions before.

SCATS are being sold off the trailer in my State, can't see hardly a single one hit the lot or show room, if it says in transit...they sell it...and its gonna...especially the new colors.... They will take nothing off in fact 2 companies I tried to work with have sister stores ( Ford and dodge ), I bought my a10 Mustang there while I was waiting for my 1320 to be built which took like 7 months.... They SOLD the 50th anniversary editions to their sister ford lot at auction, so that they didn't HAVE to give the factory power dollars and other rebates ( for us almost 6k) off sticker... Even makes it a 2 owner...this was after I called Dodge corporate for them when they wouldn't offer the rebate and got case numbers for them and another dealership doing similar shit, I even got case numbers by Dodge....so they sold it to their Ford lot to keep from having to give me the rebate and even added 2k it took them 3 months but they sold all 3 above sticker no rebates basically according to carfax used...with 10 miles on em LOL... At that time my Mustang wasn't worth spit and now its jumped up several thousand, id probably trade it in on a 1320 and boost it ( demon suspension axles and drag mode tbrake ect) as I had planned aka poor man's demon...just looking for 10s but you can't find em or order em.... During one of my cases with dodge I brought up its shitty to have the power dollars deals when they KNOW they can't produce the car and never gave relief to the consumer in the terms of 0% 72/84 like Ford did, ect they extended it.... .notice hell cats are 0%72 right now

They're definitely increasing. Charger's and Challenger's are a lot of peoples dream car and they are very obtainable for the most part . Good for me . That leaves SUVs , trucks , and old school land yachts for me . THANKS DODGE !

Way more bang for you buck buying a scatpack challenger. 485hp and you get that old school muscle car look. Dodge is absolutely killing the game right now!!!! I love dodge lol ford and chevy got to copy everything dodge does. They come out with a supercharged ram TRX and now fords got to copy them and put the 5.2 supercharged in their raptor. Then i hear chevy is supposed to be coming out with a 800hp yenko Silverado but again had to copy dodge lol. Love the channel man, wanna see you race a hellcat.

I did that with my Ram 1500 bighorn. Bought it at the end 19. And traded it in for my 1320 challenger. And only lost. 1 k after a year. Of ownership. Pd 35k for the truck. And got 34 on trade in. From the same dealership. A year later

Carvana is ruining the used car market by overpaying for literally every car they can. It's going to drive dealerships out of business since they're forcing them to pay more as well. They gave me more than I paid for my Charger Scat Pack in trade for my new Challenger Scat Pack

Carvana offered me $1,100 more for my 2017 Mustang V-6 than the Ford dealer where I originally bought it from. And to think that this dealer advertises itself as "we pay the highest price for your car!"

Good question. I've thought long and hard about exhaust. I like it being my bug out vehicle. There is no advantage to having it louder. I want it as quiet as possible. I wouldn't mind better efficiently of an exhaust but I don't want loud. Suggestions? I've got more titan content coming soon too.

Pretty much all American Performance cars are up in demand, especially Mopar 392 and up platforms. Only problem if you trading up to Hellcat Territory, not a lot of wiggle room for negotiating, so you ain’t really getting steals. Great time to sell

Question for you sir, (not about this video). I heard that the 426 Stroker burns a lot of oil, have you noticed this with yours? I want to do the stroker on my Jeep SRT but its also my daily so if I am going to have to be worrying about the oil I might just not do it. Keep up the great vids!

I haven't seen it burn any. I've checked it a few times, it's always been good. I'll check it again, but so far I haven't noticed any. But I've probably only put maybe 2000 miles on it or so. But usually when engines burn oil you can just tell, it has no smell or indication that its burning oil. It's pretty much like stock oddly enough.
