Solace is doing great both in terms of safety and quality(same as rynox/ viaterra in most cases) but fitting are hit n miss

Any helmet with ECE sold in India with our ISI should be seen in some European market. If its only sold in India with ECE and ISI, I’d be asking the question whether its really ECE certified vs. a sticker job. Would a local brand spend the money to get a true ECE certification? Are there any sites which can show what has passed ECE certification? Same for CE rated gear or at least the protectors.

I miss all the long videos… this app idea is pulling content off of youtube. That’s unfair towards the subscribers who supported your channels growth.

Guess that was the idea all along. To capture subscribers for starters and then step up to phase two.

It's only going to bite them, it's difficult to get new subscribers if they can't find a fine balance between putting up content on KZbin and their app.

Too many people are used to getting subsidies and freebies. At the end of the day, quality costs. Pay up if it is worthwhile to you.

survived a bad crash after hitting a black stray dog at night on my dominar, the crashguard with sliders mounted on it helped save the bike from any major damages, and my helmet saved my HEAD and face , got a rib fracture and road rash all over my hands, but yes HELMETS should be the priority..

Should I avoid a Snell certified helmet for a ISI helmet? Is ECE certified better than SNELL?

most important question is where to buy these high rated helmets, most stores only have low range helmets, i live in a tier 2 city which doesnt have many premium stores, pls help
@akshatmishra35239 күн бұрын
This is as our people mostly don't wear helmets and if they wear some removes after traffic police checkpoint.
@thewitnessbox4 күн бұрын
Helmets, go and try, dont buy online, companies have size charts, measure according to their instructions and it will give an estimate, but trying a helmet in person is suggested, nowadays many tier 2 cities are also having decent shops for gears, you can easily get SMK, AXXOR, atleast.

There are many vendors selling. Preowned-branded riding jackets & riding Pants/jeans. I dont know if i can trust the vendor & the pre owned stuff. Not to forget the various disesases these may carry.

One thing i have seen retail store say is a higher price jacket with CE1 will be better than a lower priced rynox CE2 jacket. Like how is that even possible

shouldn't it should be rated ce2 outright😂

Which are the helmet brands that we can trust and spend our money? An answer to this would be very helpful because I need to buy a good helmet for myself in the coming few days.
@rahuldinesh633716 күн бұрын
Personally I would trust a brand that sells helmets in multiple significant markets. They are more open to scrutiny and tend to have better quality standards.
@ride.2heal16 күн бұрын
Adding to what the gentleman in the previous comment said, Go for a brand that widely sells spare visors, Visor Mechanisms, Paddings and Pinlock visor inserts cause most of these tend to get worn out within 1-2 years if not maintained properly. 6months to a year in case if visor so you need to buy them in certain intervals

Thanks folks for these helpful tips. Which are the brands that you recommend? I have heard about LS2 and KYT. Are these good brands worth investing your money?
@ride.2heal9 күн бұрын
@tariqomar0 ls2, mt, smk are great options if you want a decent helmet without breaking bank with all major safety homologations like ece, snell and even fia. mostly the range can vary from 5k - 40k depending upon shells and homologations. want a more safer helmet? go for arai, shoei, hjc, agv! most major racers use these brands and they are as safe as an helmet can get.

what about DOT certified helmets ?
@shariprakash553615 күн бұрын
Same as isi helmet
@iparesh1415 күн бұрын
Isn't the DOT certified helmet are American standard and ECE is europian standard (as per some article on website)
@beethan821414 күн бұрын
I think DOT certifications are not done by a third party but by the helmet company themself. The helmet manufacturer tests the helmet and awards itself the DOT certificate. But for ECE, a third party tests the helmets and awards it the certificate. I think this is the case, not fully sure though. You can look it up.

@ i just asked the quality and certification , and its not that how much i value my head , in that case i should only drive cars as i value my entire body . take care
@vizdrom16 күн бұрын
Do you know why the DOT and ISI rating is always gigantic while the ECE Logo is smaller than the weight stickers in most budget ECE helmets? And then there's Steelbird making videos on thier DOT helmets even though they have ECE helmets under Ignyte. Weird. ECE certification needs more marketing.
