I wish they used new animations for the goal and win on the Jumbotron and the side screens and I wish they used real nhl songs but ofc the damn copyright always gets them so it makes it less exciting and not as much as a vibe

But like half the nhl goal songs are recycled and the same with few new ones. They used to have chicagos. no excuse to lose the copyright. They have the money to get the nhl songs rights. They just don't care.

Someone explained that the Capital One Arena is subjected to noise bylaws that prevent the goal horn from going off in an empty arena. With their planned move to Potomac Yard, this should make it easier when they do move Needless to say, that could have been done in 2020-2021 during the pandemic when the Capital One Arena’s neighbours were shuttered

Well, that’s tough. The fact is capital ones one of the only arenas that is center city and shares a parcel and the fact that since the last Horn recording in 2010. They have the Gallery Pl., regal Cinemas and more tennants in the buildings they have to have a certain capacity to blow it I know the bylaws suck, but it’s just difficult

As a rangers fan, the sound of the recording is 100% accurate, but the blast pattern is actually not quite 100% accurate. The third blast IRL has a different ending where the tone kind of rises a little bit. The third blast in the game kind resolves back down.

That’s not the original horn ! The one at the Joe was a Buell Reed Trombone, the one that the RW currently use is a Kahlemberg Q3, the same model that the Florida Panthers and the Minnesota Wild use

At least EA sports replicated the on-screen scoreboard as seen on TNT national broadcasts. Anyways, it's nice to hear some improved nhl goal horns with some being nice and crisp and loud, with the most improved being the red wings goal horn. God damn the capitals goal horn is MORE WORSE than last year!!! EA, you should do better than that! Anyways, with utah's goal horn, that's a good sounding goal horn to hear. Hopefully, we can hear the OFFICAL goal horn for the utah hocky club so we can compare to NHL 25's goal horn used for the utah team. Otherwise, good job with this video! #GoFlyers

EA did a good job at fixing some goals it's just the scoreboard it looks like they tried to go for an espn esc look and theirs no animation. I hope that's not permanent tho and they give it some life at least Oh yeah rip capitals they got done dirty😭
