They turned out really cool but I lost mine when I moved out of my parents house. (Might be still there I dont know)

That is because people who pay at Patreon will see the videos first. The same thing is with many other KZbin channels - if someone has Patreon profile they can let their patreons to watch the videos earlier than others.

this IS actually a jewelry-making technique, called "Chasing." It's often used with repousse, where you then turn the piece over and hammer the parts you haven't hammered in, so that they're raised up even higher on the front side. So this kit was teaching kids a VERY complicated skill that could be used for their entire lives!

Hi sweet Jackie! I’ve been ill and away and I’ve missed your videos so much, MOSTY CUZ YOU r in them!!!! How have you been feeling? I’ve been thinking of you lots. Hoping your summer is going well so far also! And better rest!💜💖💕🌸 The weather in Alta&Sask where I’ve been has been crazy!! Lol either tons of rain, hail, or heat&humid as heck!!!! Oh well I’m just getting much saltier in my older years😝 LOVE♥️the burb memo pad frame you made! Great job! I really love copper so I’m partial to things made with copper too. And kitty pj pants?! ABSOFREAKINLOOTLY!! Lol (and socks with my kitty’s picture all over! Hubby got them for me last Christmas and I love them! Liked this video very much, as your content is great and even through the depression and chronic pain which tbh is (REALLY) getting to me today, you are one of only three ppl on KZbin that make me consistently LOL each time, numerous times in one video! I adore your personality and sense of humour! Hug (((((Jackie)))))💜🌈⭐️have the best day possible! xoxo

I remember doing stuff with saws, hammers and stuff in first grade as well. The lessons were called "Arts and Crafts". It was great! Never underestimate what young kids can do.

I'm 56 this year. You asked on another video what craft kits I did as a child (1969-1978). I did Tandy leathercraft (made a nice set of moccasins and a belt (my Mom and Dad did tooled leather work - some nice stuff) - by the way, I checked and the company is still making leather kits and they have a website.). I also did bead loom kits (yes, the loom was shaped wire and rickity as heck and the beads were really irregular) and a couple of woven heatmats from strips of knit cloth (you could use t-shirt strips for the modern equivalent) and a peg loom. Then there was some scratched copper panels and string art with fiberboard as the base for the pins (the patterns came in a booklet).

I actually learned "tapping" in my apprenticeship not too long ago =) We had a metalworks teacher who did this thing his whole life before he retired. We used some wax putty (can't find the English word, sorry) in a half-bowl made of heavy iron to "melt" copper plates in. This made them easier to work on. The tapping really was relaxing and I enjoyed it very much - we even learned how to make our own tools for this =) great video! Loved it!

We did a project just like this in my 5th or 6th grade art class. It was neat!
