In this case, brother made a video for the sake of dawah that benefits the ummah. Shaykh Ibn Baaz rahimullah said in the video link down below that before he had been more strict on taking videos, recordings them using cameras and stuff, after he had been more relaxed on the situation, and he has allowed his speech to be captured on camera TV all that so here we can see that it’s allowed in cases of necessity;of necessity which allows the nation of Muslims to benefit from that dawah.

I think the scholars are confused. There is good and bad points of more or less everything
@aqeelhamid57213 ай бұрын
The more you learn the less you know, akhi/ukhti your statement is a example of the dunning kruger effect. Scholars aren’t like you and I, they don’t follow their desires and are deeply grounded in the quran and the sunnah, thereupon they take a holistic approach to come to conclusions. In light of the quran and sunnah our opinions mean less than water. so empty your cup, Scholars aren’t just for show, these are individuals that many people describe as walking libraries, and that can be seen as literal, as most have memorised a multitude of books to the point of memorising an entire library, if you actually ever met one you’d know, scholars have probably forgotten more on islamic subjects than you have ever learnt. And remember scholars don’t speak on subjects except they have knowledge of that subject as knowledge precedes speech and action.

@@aqeelhamid5721 I wouldn't limit the derivation of rulings strictly to quran wa sunnah. Take into account all of the other wahy of Allah Ta'ala like the Tawrat (Torah), Zabur (Psalms), Injil (Gospel), Scrolls of Abraham, Scrolls of Moses. --- Take for example the second commandment of today's tawrah: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." 20:4-6 (WLC) --- Akhi, Islam goes way deeper than what it's thought to be. Yes, we have authentic rulings from Quran wa sunnah. However this is a special matter which requires going deep into the study of evidence from all revelations of the Prophets. BarakAllahu feekum

The fact that drawng animate beings is haraam that is clear cut. Everything else just doesnt make sense. Its not written anywhere that using a camera is forbidden. So why make it out as it is. If that was the case in this day and age, no idea how islam would spread.
@Hydrogen99992 ай бұрын
To answer your last question. Allah Ta'ala does what He wills. As Muslims, we can't believe superstitions. To think that Allah blessed us with youtube and images is a reason for the permissibility of digital imagery would generally be incorrect. I do agree with your beginning statement, indeed all drawings, sculptures, etc are haram and that matter is clear cut. However I also currently take the opinion that all images and videos through a screen is haram as well. This is due to many factors and arguments which I've gathered to come to the safest conclusion. One for example being the generality of the meaning of tasweer, along with dozens of other arguments. So I'm on youtube right now, but I've blocked all the images and put youtube in audio only mode on my device... any physical form of tasweer I come across, I try my best to remove it... I just do what's safest (based on the hadith of avoiding doubtful matters) and most pleasing to Allah, but it's still an issue of dispute and there are so many questions

@lebebeve48814 жыл бұрын
aisha briscoe that’s makes no sense. A video is multiple pictures at the same time. If you don’t know a picture is a reflection of what the camera is taking. The camera is not making a picture at all. In fact, it’s just reflecting what Allah made, like a mirror, and the rasulullah didn’t stop people from looking at mirrors. Now if we take it from this sense, a camera is a device which takes your reflection and stored it. Kind of like it freezes it in time.

@yosuf8155 жыл бұрын
It is permissible if it is without humans or animals Ibn 'Abbaas said: "If you must do that (draw pictures), make pictures of trees and other inanimate objects." (Reported by Muslim, 3/1871)

Mevrouw Aruba* There is a difference of opinion on the matter of digital photos. Some of the scholars allow digital photos such as those saved on phones and computers. These scholars have stipulated some conditions. One condition, for example, is that it should not be printed into material or tangible form; it should stay in the intangible form on the phone or computer. Another condition which some of the scholars stipulate is that pictures of women shouldn’t be saved on these devices because these devices can be hacked and unauthorized people can gain access to the photos. Other scholars say all pictures are haram no matter the medium with which they are saved. Some of the scholars make an exception for printing pictures of people that are necessary or mandated by the government like passport photos or photos for certain licenses.

If hell fire is interested with those who make tasweer , it would make sense if we talk about painting and sculpting because indeed those people are gifted with this ability and are a "category of people" if we include taking pictures , that wouldn't make sense because that makes every single Muslim a musaweer every one can take pictures , like everyone can look at the miror it doesn't need any special skill just clic and that's it a picture , it's like how mirrors are quick refelction and pictures are preserved ones , where is the imitation ? Like the cameraman is not creating just preserving the refelction , how is making that like doing like someone who takes there pencil and recreate a human/animal just like the real one on e paper or sculpting it the same??! Is that logical? With all respect for those who think taking pictures is like painting and sculpturing , I highly disagree . kzbin.info/www/bejne/omKZk51uap6hnLM

Should we also stop keeping your KZbin content in our phones? If photos are prohibited then Muslim scholars should leave KZbin. Sculpture different from photography. Everyone is saying they are haram at the same time it depends. If u take photo it doesn’t mean u have created because it’s a reflection like u see yourself in a mirror. Not everyone takes photos naked . Allah knows best

Then you should stop recording videos also because you are against your words. Pornography wasn’t the question The answer should be yes or no and the reason as to why + the well interpreted Hadith. In this generation who can start worshipping his photo? Thank you. Allah knows best
@aqeelhamid57213 ай бұрын
Your statement is whats known as a black and white fallacy, you can’t force things into yes or no answers, especially when there are grey areas and exceptions. Scholars and students of knowledge aren’t bringing new ruling rather they demonstrate the application of rulings to new innovations in those subjects. Alhamdulilah people of knowledge take a holistic approach and not based on ‘in this generations’ approach, exceptions don’t make the rules, people understand, comprehend and apply things differently. Lay people fall into what is knows as the dunning kruger effect, when the ruling on khamr was revealed to the companions they didn’t question why? Rather they went and poured away all their khamr. They heard and they obeyed and that is the example we follow.

Scholars and 'Ulama take this matter lightly... The deen's establishment of shariah needs a serious reform or reset, muslims are so divided subhAllahil Adheem
