Leaf Green is arguably my favorite Pokémon game. I have a save file with 500 hrs with a couple of shiny Pokémon. And I still go back to it to this day! Great video man

I will never let anyone convince me FRLG aren't some of the best games of the series. As just an RPG, forget a Pokemon game, these games are just incredible. The sense of freedom and options at your disposal, even if imperfect, make them highly replayable I don't think Pokemon fans truly appreciate how good these games are as RPGs or games in general. There's just something magical about Gens 3-5 to me

I was playing to beat the elite four 200 times and when I play I get instantly immersed like I’m living in the game and everything else doesn’t exist. It’s such a great game in general. The simplicity is great and an awesome remake

Firered and leafgreen are the optimal way to experience Kanto. That said, Kanto itself is a pretty lackluster and bland region, with a relatively small amount of pokemon to choose from. That is Generation I's fault though, and not the game's itself. I consider it the best start for new players

@@ches2 Ive replayed it many times and thats what makes it so bland to me. Its not that bad, it just doesnt compare with the regions that came after it

@@Crocodile_80 Honestly, Hoenn is an amazing and diverse region, however ive played through it so many times that it became boring. Its not the region itself though, its the 2 teams you have to battle. Sinnoh is great I wont lie
