2 days ago our family grew with one rhodesian ridgeback girl. She already gets so happy to see our kids in the morning and after school. She is so smart little 8 week pup, she learnt during these 2 days word sit and i am such proud pup mom ❤

So beautiful! HBD Quinn! My livernose girl is OBSESSED with ALL babies. She is nearly two and has always been extremely gentle and very interested in all babies. She is very good on the lead unless she spots a pram/baby she must sniff 😂 Luckily for her, parents don’t mind the intrusion as her approach is very gentle and loving. Best breed ever!!

Most of the bigger protection dog breeds are good with their own family's kids. Most of our dogs have been good to great with all kids, but I am cautious because dogs and kids have different communication styles. Properly done and monitored, kids interacting with their dogs learn care and compassion for other critters.

Super curious, how would be best to adapt a new puppy (getting her in a few weeks, she's be 8 weeks old) to our 9 month old and our almost 3 year old.. main focus is being gentle and redirecting teething pup with toys, but.my.9 month old is also on the verge of walking already lol 😆 any tips are appreciated!!

As much as my ridgeback is the kindest and sweetest pup I’ve had, she is very clumsy and sporadic. I’ve gotten head butted quite a few times. I would have to be careful with her around children.
