Word of caution on those S20EZ uprights. Been seeing a LOT of melted brushrolls and their R&D knows about it but won't do anything.

I saw one ladies video from a year ago where she had the Riccar 25D and it showed made in China not the US. That would be a shame as one reason to buy this is because it is made in the US and to high quality standards.

What a shame. Since they decided to split the companies, they should have made the Simplicity the china version and the Riccar the supreme USA brand. Give people the option of cheaper or luxury.

I have an older Simplicity 5000B upright. What would be the Riccar equivalent model for purchasing parts?

Great job on the video, I wasn’t even sure about this.

I appreciate the information. It is funny as they are the same company. I did not know this but was interesting in Simplicity and my sister bought Ricar. I am sorry they changed it and made simplicity a lower line but now know if I get another vacuum it will be the Ricar.

Hello- does the Simplicity 20EZM use the same belt as Simplicity 5, 6, 7, and 8000 Series?

Looking for a reasonable bagless upright vacuum for pets. I have been through too many Sharks as they do not last! Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I’ve had my shaft for years 8yrs. Still works fine. Then again I keep the brush roll and all filters clean ever since I bought it. It’s starting to show it’s age somewhat though

My older Simplicity canister still works great!

Riccar might be "assembled" in the US but most of the components (aside from the cases) are made in China. Not a bad thing because parts and products made in China can vary widely in terms of quality. What concerns me is how deceptive it appears by making it look like Riccar is "made in America" when it's really not.

Course if you REALLY want the old school Tacony stuff, more like Panasonic, you'll need to get a Titan lol.
