High home ownership also due to most Singaporeans using CPF to pay for their mortgage. Can see and can use, just cannot put in your pocket until after 55.

When u know cpf can see but cannot touch..use it all on Pty investment..reap the capital gain + rental gain,,those take action from 2017 now fly to the moon,,actually even now enter still can make it..trick is as long as is today not yesterday not tomorrow.

You forgot price inflation is ALWAYS due to too much cash liquidity, easy loans and fomo. You forgot these factors unique to SG: 1. High wages due to Woke-ism, and regardless of lack of innovation and productivity. 2. CPF balances are now half a TRILLION. And GenX parents have been hitting age 55 these past few years giving them access to liquidity. 3. Generous HDB grants and subsidies. 4. Boomer singaporeans benefited from enbloc fever of 2017 - 2018, with payouts only started since 2021. 5. CPF savings interest rates remained high for 10 years despite 2008 Global Financial Crisis. 6. Singaporeans have spending appetites outsized to their actual talents, abilities and work skills. (ie. it is pap govt policies which are excellent, not the grumbling, complaining, blaming singaporean worker.)

This guy, for any country to be rich, everybody must be rich, must be debtless must be able to afford anything, mansion, palace etc without any debt. For him no country in the world is rich. He is making a video for the sake of making a video because he is debunking a very well known fact, something that make him out to be super incredible. So look at his videos with a big pinch of salt, unless he says something dramatic, nobody would want to see his videos.

A rich person has no debts. He can be living in a small flat but he has no debts. To me, he's rich. But if he has a house and car loan. That's not rich. That's debt.

Looking at China where property plunge with many housing left unfinished, developers go bankrupt. While not e same situation, sgp shouldn’t think n take that hosing can get u rich fast, any economic uncertainty or downturn, all properties may be a liability, not an asset.
