Are Slovak Villagers Welcoming? (Social Experiment) 🇸🇰

Are Slovak villagers welcoming? I went to the most charming remote Slovak village to find the answer to my question. My intentions was to visit village of Vlkolinec which is unique for many reasons. The main one is that the village has wooden houses and for that reason is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage and the other reason is that the village is special for its villagers as much as 30 original villagers still live there and many more visit there as holiday house and city breakaway. Where else would be the best place to find out about the hospitality and history of the Slovak villagers?
I tour the whole village and visit the Dom UNESCO, then went to the pub for local hand crafted beer I also go to the restaurant for traditional food. I visited the local church and went to the farm to have a look at the animals, I also saw the the well which was the only source of drinking water in this village.
This place reminds me of Čičmany in regards of it being a place of history and well preserved folk wood architecture.
This is a documentary that no other content creator has documented in Vlkolínec, in the Ružomberok region of Slovakia with given permission to have secret access inside the locals private property provided with the history and information from this world UNESCO village.

@@lukaspik4440 ono niekedy sa proste nezadarí, či už miesto alebo ľudia. Na "Čehúňov" sú niektorí slovenskí ľudáci vysadení aj po rokoch od rozdelenia. Za seba môžem povedať, že tu mám roky české návštevy, či už rodinu alebo známych a doteraz mali prevažne pozitívne skúsenosti a zážitky, teda aspoň tie čo si pamätajú :D

Hey Andre, My grandfather John Hajcak came over from Slovakia around 1920 from a town called Zamutov! He settled in Pennsylvania and became a coal miner and raised a family. I know there are Hajcak’s still in the town so tell them I said hello from America......lol....My grandmother came from Presov

He took his daughter who would be my cousin and she put weight on from that trip lol. They had a great time though. I’m sure we have some family in the local cemetery

@@joe5951 I will ask my grandma about Hajcak family in the next visit. Zámutov is actually a big village but she knows everyone there since she lives in the very center and she is main “church lady”😂. Christianity is still going strong there. Actually eastern slovakians are different from western slovakians. They have their own dialect and they are also more spontaneous and crazier than other slovaks. They are very generous, hospitable and they drink a lot😅. I’m sure you would enjoy it there and had a nice adventure. Quite a hidden gem.

@@stanislavduda1430 I’ve heard Pennsylvania nature is very similair to Slovakia, I’m not sure you would get the same experience as in here though 😅 People are much different and we also have culture which is hundreds of years old and consists of our traditional music, instruments, dances, clothes, food and atitude towards life. I laughed at slepice a lot :D Vlkolínec is beautiful and those people you met were nice too:)) btw I'm Slovak with Hungarian mother tongue, játszok and játszom is like an example of the normal rule so we can use both of these no matter if the verb has an object. Normally the -k ending is without object and -m ending is with object. Like látok is I see in general and látom is I see exactly something. Keep up the good work!
