You must have heard about a popular Polish beer called Żywiec. In this video I will go to the main location where they brew this famous Polish beer in Żywiec which is a town on the River Soła in southern Poland with 31,194 inhabitants. It is situated within the Silesian Voivodeship, near the Żywiec Lake and Żywiec Landscape Park, one of the eight protected areas in the voivodeship. I start my journey on the edge of the town where I walk around the surrounding area to take a look at houses and architecture I came across some locals who directed me to the nearest shop where I could get a beer I also came across Ukrainian workers. I then made my way to the brewery on my way I came across the Żywiec warehouse and brewery museum. Inside the brewery I had a Polish beer and looked around to see how it looks inside. While I was having my beer I decided to walk around to see if I could find any interactions then I met a couple that was from Ukraine but living in Poland. After visiting the brewery and museum I made my easy to the main square to get a quick snack on the main square, while I was waiting for my Kebab tortilla I walked around the square at the local surrounding attractions.
Any recommendations for places to visit or traditional foods to try leave a comment.

First guy u see on the video has some mental issues. But im proud of him, He got some kid of anxiety and he managed to help:) he also probably seen black person in person for the first time. Anyway Andre I like your videos. I used to live in London and sometimes when I interacted with black people they mentioned that Polish people are racist. Your videos prove they are wrong. Looking forward to see you in many other countries. Stay safe and good luck mate, u have great personality, I know you will be big one day :D You should shot some night life in Poland but please go to bigger city and places where is a lot of students. It will be fun :D PS. It is cool to see a lot of people recognize you. I think you can officially charge for coming to some small towns in Poland xD

We don’t keep national flags on the houses normally but on the 11th of November it’s Independence Day - the biggest Polish holiday so then you can see flags everywhere. And the second time of the year when you can see flags is May 1st till May 3rd (Labour Day, the national flag day, constitution day)

Unfortunately, Andre didn't visit the Żywiec Brewery Museum at all - didn't even really come inside. And the museum is really interesting. There are interesting information inside not only about just beer, but also about the history of this old brewery, which was founded in 1856 and was owned by the Habsburg Imperial Family - one of the lines of this family, who really deserves memory. Everyone should read the great story of Archduke Karol Albrecht Habsburg and his wife Alice Habsburg (her first surname, before marrying the Archduke, was Ankarcrona, and she was born in a Swedish noble family). And the Habsburgs were the Austrian Royal Family - but only this line is so special for people living in Poland. Because although they were not Polish, had not even a drop of Polish blood - they chose to be Polish, they spoke Polish and wanted to be Polish. And during the II World War, when the Germans attacked in 1939 Poland and came also to Żywiec, both of them, Karl Albrecht as well as his wife Alice, were fighting for Poland against German. During the German occupation of Poland the Archduke declared in front of German Nazis that he is of Polish nationality (he didn't want to sign the German Nazist Volkslist) and as a consequence he was arrested and imprisoned by German Gestapo, and was even tortured by them. He left the German prison blind on one eye and half paralyzed. This was how the Germans treated the member of this one of the most famous royal families in Europe - because of his support for Poland. And at the same time, his wife Alice chose to join the Polish conspiration against Germans, called Polish Home Army. She also declared to the Germans that she chosed Polish nationality. She was active in Polish ressistance movement, delivering secret messages and correspondence and risking her life for Poland. After the war the communists took all of this property and their palace, and they had to emigrate. But their daughter, Princess Maria Christina, who also loved Poland for so many years and could speak fluently Polish, finally could come to live again in Poland, to Żywiec, after so many years in 1993. In Żywiec she spend the rest of her life and died in 2012, where she and her family is buried. This history is tragic, but great, and we, Polish people, should remember them. You can read more about all this in Internet. And in Żywiec is also their castle to visit - but Andre didn't even come close to this. What he thought was a castle - in fact it was an old church bell tower.

Man I can believe it. I'm watching this video from London (Wandsworth) and you visiting my home town. In 2011 I had my wedding in the Zywiec Brewery (there is a banquet area). The monument you have seen by the church was Polish Pope John Paul the second who has visited our town. Regarding the Brewery opposite the museum door is a pub with plenty of beer and food.

I dont know when were you recording the footage, but on 11 of november, poland celebrates the day of independence, because that date was when our country regained it, its a tradition to put out polish flags at that day and some people just dont take them off for a longer time, so you may see them on houses

Most of people in Poland can speak English. That's amazing. We learn English at the school since the youngest old. Regards from east side of Poland Andre

Żywiec is a great place to visit - not only because of its interesting history (the town itself is old, it received the town rights in 1327, so it is more than 700 hundred years old town), but also there are many tourist attractions, like a big lake and a dam, and mountains with nice views. So seeing just few streets doesn't really show how it really looks like at all.
