Mike, You just gave me a great boost. Radium is one of my favorite places in the world. I told you we actually slept outside under a shelter the first time, but subsequent visits we were in hotel/motel on the mountainside looking down at the pools. At this point that has been over 60 years. Having your family along on this journey makes it evident to me why from the first time I watched you I knew you were special. You can see the love.

Well I came in late to the livestream so had to press the replay button, but, hey Mike, you have it much better than we poor folk down in locked-down Melbourne. We were supposed to be set free next weekend, but it looks like an extension is likely. Anyway, whatever happens, it will be great to be able to go for a road trip again, even if some places are closed or there are irksome procedures to go through. You were blessed to find that natural hot spring near the Fairmont (better value than the resort pool) and the family mini-golf was heart warming to watch. The hoops you had to go through to access the hotel pool, gym and restaurant could be tiresome for some people but at least you had access. The world has changed so much and a lot of people have lost their jobs and their sanity. Yes, it is worth checking out the small towns once the opportunity comes. Looking forward to Cranbrook next week as I was there two years ago staying with my friend Kevin in his home on 6th Street South and saw the rail museum adjacent to the resort you stayed at. I bet the old Canadian Sleeper Car will be a great reveal. Thanks again for sharing so much of your lovely homeland and congratulations on the ever expanding subscriber list. I'm sure your channel has put a great deal of hope for a positive future for so many people that follow you and, possibly, has saved a few lives as well. Cheers from Michael.

Re travel during pandemic... I am really pleased that you and the service providers are taking the Covid precautions seriously. I hope you and your senior family members stay safe. The video makes me feel better for those that are travelling in Canada. But no, when Covid hit in February, my wife and I took it super seriously and are isolating at home now for 10 months. We are lucky. We have a large pleasant home and the financial means to have anything we want delivered. We are grateful for our situation and know that many others are not in this position. At least we are two less people out there risking the spread so in some small way we are contributing.

I traveled during this, but chose places I had seen that kept their reputations before! Or had reliable info about their health cautions they knew were needed and referrals that said they kept them. Does that make sense? I must give a shout out to Alaska airlines before, during and after they in my opinion have always created a crisp, fresh, clean, safe environment. Their crews and all staff are super, professional, personable, safety conscious. If it were possible I'd fly with them anywhere! Thanks 😊👍 for this incredible heart warming post!

We sometimes forget the great things in our own backyard. Perhaps that is one thing beneficial from Covid. We are discovering the great things in our own backyards. There are some thermal springs near me at Warm Springs, GA. They are inaccessible to the public. A pool was built atop them when Warm Springs was a resort community in the late 1800's. After President Roosevelt acquired them and the Georgia-Warm Springs Institute was built, the water was diverted there. Though the pools no longer are structurally capable of holding water, you can walk down in the pool and feel the warm water. President Roosevelt was at Warm Springs when he died. Warm Springs, nestled at the foot of Pine Mountain, would be a great place for you to tour. Thanks for another great video. I am traveling vicariously through you.

So I live with a compromised immune system. Outside of my own home and the hospital (I'm ok), I have not been in another building. We did a day trip to Mount Rainier National Park a couple of weeks ago and while I had some anxiety while at a popular/ crowded area known as the Grove of the Patriarchs it was pretty good. I mentioned in my comment last week that your videos have inspired me to venture out a bit more. I'm planning a surprise trip to Olympic National Park for my daughter's 7th Birthday with a 2 night say in an RV via AitBnB. Thanks for the boost in confidence and loved this weeks video as always.
