We are considering solar panels from a company called “Home Logic” they are highly rated on trust pilot . Quoting us £12;000 for 14 panels no battery Also we don’t know how long we will be in this house, but the savings sound massive and our electric bill is MASSIVE ..seems worth it as we’d make monthly outgoing far more comfortable

During my first year my generation with 4.2kw , income was £150. I guess I saved £500 during the summer 6 months. Plus hot water and enough electricity to run the lights the winter 6 months.

Hi 👋🏼 in my opinion, they’re too expensive for most people and no point , if you can’t #benefit from the saving , if it’s going to the government . So if you can afford it , yes , but if you can’t buy them #outright, then #theirs no point getting a #grant to #rent your #roof out to the #government
@BuyHoldSell10 ай бұрын
2 years deep over half paid off already. I did buy at the right time when judging the market i.e inflation etc but near 1k in repayment and lord knows how much saved off bills too. Considering 20 year warranty too it's a no brainier. What's the alternative pay for oil or gas which has heavy tax going to government?

bird shit will affect the performance as it's quite difficult to remove but probably once a year scrub with a long reach window cleaning brush/pole should be fine i'd imagine, probably need to spend a while with hot water/car shampoo and give it a couple of washes to allow the crud to soften.

The solar panels are a good way to get out of the system, but it will never be the solution for the world and its is too expensive here.

Need to becom2 cheaper or better yet, loan schemes as it is cheaper in the long run something like a 10 year repayment plan or something like that
