Are Surging Sparks ETB's Better Than a Booster Box?

Opened 2 etbs one PC and one normal and got 2 stellar Tera normal ex and one normal slaking ex but out of the normal I got 4 hits. 1 rainbow full art exeggutor, one slaking ex, one dugtrio ir, and a cyclizar ex. Pretty happy with them. Booster box I got a bunch but I got sir jasmines gaze too

I bought my first ETB/ Pokémon-Related item in Surging Sparks since Shining Fates. Didn’t even know the worth I just bought it out of impulse. I then pulled the Latias SIR and Milotic SIR and didn’t even know the worth until my friends started freaking out

My ETB had a Drayton SIR, Milotic Full Art, Sylveon Tera Ex, and Bruxish IR. Not too bad. If they turned out to be the bigger hits in those rarities then I feel like that would be a god box haha

I opened 2 different surging sparks ETBs and both had a Pikachu ex SIR in them while the booster box I got only had the Latios IR, this set is wild and it seems like the ETBs are pretty worth it lmao

I pulled the pikachu out of a regular etb lol not even the PCetb

kickass. I wont rip any of the 5 cases of PC ETBs that I am looking at. Maybe a Pika in there.

I got 1 aspect, 1 illustration rare and 1 full art. In my ETB. It just felt average to be honest. I wouldn’t buy another ETB from this set.

It’s not even the best set. Over hyped by all these content creators. Just shows how easily manipulated the market is. This could be bad for Pokemon in the future.

And what? 151 is? 151 is such an average set that people only look upon favourably because of their bias. In terms of pure artwork, it’s mediocre. Paradox Rift and Paldea Evolved have stronger illustrations.

I completely agree with you. And to each their own. I feel like Paldean fates is in my opinion the best set of sv so far. The amount or SIR’s and the fact that you get to chase non full art pokemon cards like in the 90’s. Holo cards are cards too!! Plus it has multiple cards valued over $100 and seems to still be getting slept on.
